I always wanted to go on a salts trip! The high school I went to always did it for the class senior trip until 2 years before I graduated and decided to go to some resort in the okanogon instead. Went hunting instead wasn't too pleased waited 6 years to get the chance to go on a trip my siblings went on. you did a good job keep up the excellent films!

What i do to correct the Z-axis (up/down) with my zhiyun 1. Is to use it in a 45 degree forward angle so when you move up or down it gets better stabilization

WHATS UP! I love the Crane... one of my favorite methods is to mount it on a monopod for sweeping jib-like movements. If you hold it way up high, it almost looks dronelike but you can shoot in super tight spaces like a forest. Glad you're back!

dude, I just got my Crane2 yesterday and realized my original 4 pound setup of a7s + preamp + shotgun mic + cage was too top heavy. I've been spending forever trying to find a good way to redistribute my preamp from below the a7s to the side but gotta find a place for my shotgun mic. do you find where you've put your mic to work well? the cables don't snag or anything and the weight balances?

Yes, Levi is back ! I'm currently looking for a gimbal, and i can't choose between the *Crane 2* , *the Pilotfly h2* (more expensive but more smooth) or the *Moza air* (cheaper and with a nice two handled bar but it makes some shakes).. Maybe i can choose after you show us that this is a very good option for a gimbal ! Anyway, thanks for sharing your *passion* and *positivity* with us, i've just started a new *video series about Norway* on my channel, thanks to people like you !

I wanted to buy the Crane 2 but i saw an information about this : follow focus works just with Canon because its the only brand which put a electonic function to control the focus inside their DSLR, not others

Hello, I was curious about the GH5 and Crane 2 combination. When buying the Crane 2, you also get a Zhiyun control cable for panasonic cameras. I was hoping that you could tell me is it possible to auto-focus GH5, using the gimbal? ( I don't mean the manual servo follow focus wheel). But a button that I can push on the gimbal that acts as a shutter-release button/AF-ON, that sends a signal to my dslr (GH5) via the Zhiyun control cable, and then auto-focuses (Single Servo)? Something like this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oIK0YoOkpL58bJI ( there is a: "zoom function" for sony cameras on "Crane v2" that acts as a shutter-release button on GH5, when you press "W" or "T" button) I contacted the zhiyun-tech about the Crane 2, and they told me that: "GH5, we can support photo,video,and AF via the cable". I wonder which button on the Crane 2 acts as a shutter-release button/AF-ON? Thank you in advance, Chris M

I want to use it with a 5D Mark IV. Without an additional stabilizer most of the footage I have seen so far didn't look that stable..

not sure I don't have that setup to test currently. You should be able to get great results with any combination. skill definitely would start to come into play though

Please help me choose the lens and camera. I really need your help. I am from Russia, I have not found any answers here. I need a camera that shoots video well (mostly indoors, a small area). I’m choosing between Panasonic GX85 and GX80, although there may be something even better. I also understand that a good wide-angle lens is needed. I wanted to get a fisheye but it makes rounded corners, and I do not need it. Help to choose a good film lens, please. The price should not be very high. In future I want more. Maybe from Leica? A little later I also plan to purchase Nikon d850 camera only for photos. I heard it makes good videos in 4K. Or should I wait a bit and purchase Nikon d850 for photos and videos? Or do I need a Panasonic? I want to shoot now, I have ideas, but at the moment I cannot have Nikon. Because optics is expensive. And I do not even know what kind of lens to purchase for shooting videos with Nikon. Thank you!

Lora Lora The Rokinon lenses are great for Panasonic cameras as you will be using manual focus anyway. I would get a the Rokinon cine 10mm or 14mm ef mount with a cheap speedbooster for that wide angle effect.
