do you find there is a little play/wobble between the light and the battery grip when attached, as with my x100 there is, and I'm not sure if its normal. It works fine, just not totally solid when connected

how do you get the rubber battery port cover off the camera body ?

The newest iOS app update killed RGB control via app of the molus x60 rgb App is only sending hue values from 0-100° instead of 0-360° More than 1 month ago I bought several of x100 and several of x60 RGB I set them up in the field and once you turn on the light, you could not turn them off. It seems like the guy who is responding for the software is an absolutely junior level developer. Not even testing new versions. So the iOS app is more a beta version than a serious tool to work with

Is this light powerful enough for lightning a single portrait just using one of these lights? Or do you think that this light is powerful only as a fill light ?
@TheHybridShooter9 ай бұрын
Depends on the scene and how much diffusion do you want. I would probably recommend the X100 over the X60 if you want to use it as a single light.

Cool video, well done ! If the Zhiyun molus x60 RGB battery dies , can it keep working , by plugging in a simple 10000 mA USB-C powerbank that is not PD ? Also can you attach it to steel surfaces magnetically ?

You may need a power bank support PD protocol.

i would not suggest to buy it: 1) battery is not charging by connecting the power cord to x60 - you need to buy additional charger separately 2) the sound of the fan is not so silent as expected 3) when you attach the battery it is not easy to place it as you need, especially when you connect it to the power cord. only if you use some connectors. 4) the buttons are not so good for often usage

thank you for this review! there are few disadvantages I see with this light: - in CCT mode output of Molus X60 RGB is lower than other 60w Bi-Color lights, probably around 45-50W - I would prefer battery as a bottom mounted or grip handle (Colbor PG77/99) - deep reflector on the bowens mount adapter gives too much directional light. It should be some additional diffuser on it, which will spread the light evenly inside of the large domes or softboxes

My pleasure, but I strongly disagree with all points. - No, it is 60W light in CCT, I have measured it. - That would make the use of 1/4” mount and USB-C less convenient. - It is a 60W light, not a 300W light. It wouldn't be powerful enough for large Bowens diffusors, so the whole point of the reflector is to make it useable with Bowens accessories at all. Dome included in the box provides extremely soft light, so there is no need to be worried about that. There is also additional diffusion layer above the diodes on the X60 RGB.

@@TheHybridShooter Thanks, I am trying to decide between the x60 bi color and x60 RGB, which would you recommend? I already have the x100. It seems the x60RGB is less bright than the bi color version, but it would be nice to have RGB. Any thoughts?

Zhiyun and Zion are two completely different sounding words btw.
@TheHybridShooter9 ай бұрын
I am well aware. Zhiyun prefers "Ziun" pronunciation in English speaking videos instead of attempts to replicate Chinese pronunciation, and so do I.
