It's always fun to see what they come up with next.

Was set on going with the Colbor CL220r + CL60r but now I'm reconsidering Zhiyun pairing the G200 with this X60. Zhiyun keeps coming out with sick small lights and I love/hate it. Love your reviews!

Thanks! The Colbor lights are good too, just way more traditional, so it depends on whether you find the design decisions on the Zhiyun lights to be appealing. I love how small they all are.

@NewLayer Agreed. Right now it's just a battle of one having RGB and one being a 300w light that can fit in a backpack. Great problem to have.

If you can vary the kelviin on the X60, what's the point of getting the X60RGB? It looks like the only difference is being able to actually use the RGB with colored lights. I only want to have the flexibility to control the color temperature with the still portraits I take in different natural light settings. Can you please advise? Thanks!

Correct, the X60RGB just adds color support. Some RGB lights will let you adjust the green/magenta tint as well (while in white/CCT mode), but these don't. So, if you don't need color, don't get the RGB, because you'll still get bi-color control and more brightness from the same amount of power.

Photometrics?

I'll get my measurements uploaded to my light comparison tool when I can, but they are right in line with any other good 60 watt COB in brightness, color accuracy, and tint. The Zhiyun website is accurate as far as brightness goes, ~2680 lux for the bi-color and ~2010 lux for the RGB from 1 meter.

Do you get a cut of sales from your coupon code?
@NewLayer10 ай бұрын
No, it's not a specific coupon code to me, just a sitewide coupon code they posted. I actually made less if people use the coupon code, because like any other affiliate links I use, I get a flat % of the total, like all my referral links to Amazon, B&H, or other brand direct shops.

What is happening now, the money don't have any value? Almost $400 for this hahahah no wayyy

Perhaps you're underestimating their capabilities or comparing them to the wrong things because of their size. The X60 bi-color light-only kit is $199. which is right in line with other 60 watt COB lights. The Forza 60B II is $319, Godox ML60II Bi is $179, Amaran 60x S is $199. The battery grip adds ~$70, which is cheaper than buying a comparable v-mount battery, so the value only gets better when you get the kits. The RGB light-only kit is $249, while the Forza 60c is $699, Colbor and SuteFoto make RGB COBs for around $200, and Godox and Amaran don't even make 60 watt RGB lights. What other similarly capable lights would you recommend instead of these?
