Hi Brad and thank you so much for you video! It is strange but on my Android the Zhiyun app seems completely different. It has just the simple buttons and not at all the options that you explain. I have only record button, 3 gimble modes, panorama, time lapse and moving time lapse. I do not even have the option to save the time lapse position presets. Is it another app that you are using? You know what I find REALLY frustrating?! Is that there are NO up to date videos/information on how to set up the latest ZHIYUN Gymbals with latest cameras! It is all out of of date - 3 to 4 years old and it makes it soooo hard to set up latest cameras with latest version gymbals and latest version ZY Play app. GET IT TOGETHER ZHIYUN! I have spent a small fortune on your gear and you need to provide up-to-date information on the the technology!!!!

Can I record the feed from the transmitter via the ZY play app? Or do I need the receiver and a external recorder? Just the video transmitter, attached to a camera, connected to a phone via wifi?

You can record the feed but only recording the screen on your phone, the quality of the feed is not very good anyway, lacks sharpness and clarity in my opinion

Hello, I have a Weebill S with the TransMount kit. When I connect the Weebill S to the ZY Play app the Histogram always shows up and I can't hide it. The Histogram button to make it appear and disappear is not in the current version of ZY Play. I need to do live streaming and the histogram should not appear. Is there a way to hide it?

I've had a Weebill S for a month. Combined with app & WiFi transmitter / Canon M50. Nearly threw it against the wall in first week. With perseverance its a brilliant tool. But intuitive its not (nor the app). As a former software designer it does irk. The gimble is just as complicated. Pan Follow/Follow modes via switch. Great. PoV mode press PoV button....erm OK. F(ollow) mode press trigger....obviously. Go mode....press Fn key. Vortex mode press PoV twice... Cryptic or what. I now have a summary sheet in my bag. Functionality great when you finally get your head around it & everything set up. Hard work getting there though (only 5GHz WiFi connection. Darn old phone no good then. Hmm phone has 5GHz but still wont connect. Hold down the on/off key to switch from 5.2 to 5.8 GHz..... ahh now my phone works. All there, pulling it all together is hard work though. N.B. Wonder if it would be technically feasible with the Weebill S2 to have the second gimble arm capable of sitting either side i.e. reversible. That way most cameras would fit more easily. The Canon M50 has HDMI & USB on right hand side making it very tight connecting to WiFi transmitter. Done it but its a bit of a fudge.

Hello, why my zy play isn't like that at all? It is not at all the same menu, same screen. And why I see what my tablette sees and not what my camera sees? I used the special gimbal cable between the crane m and my Sony A6300.

When you have a camera incompatible with the ZP Play program , is it possible to make a panorama only with the positions to take pictures in the weebill, but that you activate the camera yourself regardless of the program? ...In other words, is it possible to just activate a panorama positions in the weebill lab and take the pictures directly from the camera? ... Yes, this is possible. My camera (Nikon D5300) is not fully compatible with the Zhiyun Crane 2. However, I've been able to use it as a stabilizing gimbal, and I've also been able to use the ZY Play app to program moving time lapses. All the motions function properly with the Crane 2 and the ZY Play app on my phone; I just have to change camera settings manually and press record manually.

Lijith Win Vijay There’s apparently a MULTI interface cable that will fix it, but the only seller I’ve found on eBay never has it. I bought the cord for the Crane and that doesn’t work either.

They asked me to check the "Note" section in the camera compatibility PDF and the point 4 states: "SONY A7/ A7S/A7S2/A7R/A7R2/A7M2/A6000/A6300 cannot support to look back photos or video. Photos shot with panorama and timelapse cannot be stored in the camera." But they mentioned in the PDF main table Weebill lab can take photos under 'grip control' column. I asked them about this discrepancy, then their reply was - 'Both means the same. Sorry for the inconvenience'

For pre-recorded custom video movements the recording stops when the movement is finished. Is there a way to continue filming without stopping the recording. I know that you can prolong the duration, but then the movement is going to be super slow.

whenever I try to use the follow function in the app and start recording on my camera, or even stat a time lapse, by tracking something it could become a hyperlapse, like the top of a building of example, the weebill stats to rotate slowly but crazy vertically. every time I select a subjet, the frame is marked in red instead of yellow like your video and is unusable. It only works if I dont take any picture or video. Could you help me with this issue? Im currently using a panasonic G9 with my weebill lab. besides this issue everything else works great. thanks!

Hi i put my smooth Settings to 200 but i have still the Problem that if i use the Joystick for the tilt-movement, the movement is not smooth stopping when i move the Joystick back to the center it stops immediately.The Fosicam was way better. I have a a7r3 with 35mm 1.8 The Joystick seems not to be so sensitive for smaller Joystick movements it should more ease out or slow down slowly... It seems that the Joystick is too direct in the stick movement. How can i change that in smoother stops ? i have the latest firmware 1.9.5.

The app does NOT fire my Sony A7Riii in stills or video during any of the settings for Pano, Time-Lapse or Trajectory. It goes through the motion but does NOT connect to the Sony shutter. I can activate it with the Weebil S Record button manually, but not practical to do that with stills (so the cable is connected properly). Any help here would be appreciated

I just bought the Weebill today and had some trouble setting it up with my Sony a7ii, but now it works fine. First: be sure you are using the right cable to connect the camera to the Weebill. It should be the 'micro USB to multi USB' (or Multi 002) cable. The micro USB end goes into the Weebill, the micro USB in the camera. Second, make sure that you have selected 'PC-remote' in the USB settings in the camera menu. Now, these two steps you can easily find in pretty much every tutorial, but it still wouldn't work for me. The third thing I needed to do was to select 'off' in the Weebill menu when going to Camera>Sony. So step by step, what you need to do is go to the settings in the Weebill, select 'camera', select 'Sony' and then select 'off'. This seems strange, but what you are actually doing is disabling charging from camera, which apparently caused the problem. Finally, when you have the whole thing set up you need to first switch on the Weebill and then the camera. When I did all this I was finally able to record and take pictures from the Weebill itself and from the app. It works just fine now. I hope this helps. Edit: by the way, the trigger for pictures on the Weebill is the button in the middle of the lower selection 'wheel'.

I think it is not possible to triggered a shot for the a7iii. and the app ist not use al this way.... and for so much money. probably sending it back. I just can't use it to its full extend. and waiting in hope that it will be resolved in an update.... just not worth it. If you Google the problem more you can see that this issue is not new. it is well known. sadly

I checked the camera compatibility list in the web page, and they just say that Panasonic Gh5 and Gh5s are compatible with micro Usb-Type C. i bought weebill lab today for my Fujifilm Xh1- which is mentiond in the list of compatible cameras by the way- and i cant take panoramas. neither control camera setting (iso, shutter speed) i can connect my phone to the gimbal via WIFI but many features dont work. truely dissapointed. any support would be nice. you cant even use the record button on the gimbal. the gimbal although conected via usb to the camera, cant communicate with my camera. not acceptable. you should say that fuji cameras are NOT supported with weebill gimbal.

I have recently bought a weebil s. And I am completely pissed off that the Android ZY app even does not support the gimbal. The product is available already for several months and is not "just announced". Why do Android users have to have less features for the product then Iphonr users. Really unprofessional from Zhiyun. I hope one day there will be an improvement coming. But also I have to sax all the youtubers who reviewed the Gimbal and what is one of the essentials for me as a customer to get the gimbal , none of them tested it with Android and this information is completely missing in any review...

I'm having trouble with the motion time-lapse feature. I set the points hit next, I select video for real time video, and duration, then nothing happens when I hit start. Can you please help?

The other functions work, modes, panning etc. Does the weebill have to be connected to the camera to program camera movements, or can the app program movements alone? Basically I want to just have the weebill move in a set course and time but activate the recording directly on the camera.

@@ericcecil6817 You need to connect the gimbal and the camera at first. Then use the app to program the routes because the app will send the commands to the gimbal via bluetooth.

The footage made through this app get weird names with letters and numbers, which is not even in chronological order. Gets messed up when when have a lot of footage. Any idea how to fix it? that it gives the date and time when the video was shot as a name for example? Otherwise no point to use the app (waste of time to organise everything)
