I got my Weebill s last week and i finally used it today. Your video was sooooooo helpful and I'm so grateful. The whole thing seems so overwhelming and and I was scared I purchased the wrong stabiliser for my lumix g7 but your video was very easy to follow and honestly I didn't struggle as much. That was good! I just tried mine last night with my Sony a7C but got tons of vibration. Your setup is much more detailed than the other tutorials I've watched, and I have a feeling that your tutorial will help me get rid of that noisy, loud vibration when I try again (following your tutorial) tomorrow. I thought it would be a breeze, because my Zhiyun Crane M2 (for a Sony RX100VA) was much easier to get going, and no vibration, etc.

From what i read, if you have vibration it is because the strength of the motors roll, pan, tilt are set too high. You should reduce the levels. The vibration should disapear. Also make sure to use 2.07 firmware. They have solve some vibrations issues in 2.06, 2.07 has been tested successfully. Also make sure to do the auto setup before changing the values. Eventually you can try the full calibration as indicated in the documentation (6 position). But try first auto balancing, then reduce the motor strength, let me know.

Good info, thanks for taking time to share. I am moving from a Crane 2 to the Weebill S...used it on 3 shoots and liking it. One suggestion you may have noticed already, set your filming camera on manual focus, it keeps hunting and menu items are not in focus with your moving hand.

My Weebill-S, which I received an hour ago here in the UK, actually has a USB C socket!!! I am about to use the micro USB to USB C cable with the right-angled micro-plug in my G9 and the C end in the Weebill-S. Wish me luck... Edit: I just discovered the second (micro) usb plug in the Weebill-S. Directly behind the USC C socket which faces front. So, it IS micro usb to micro usb!

I think the weebill S is the best travel gimbal even today in jan 2022. After watching and analyzing all the gimbals, it is the one with best features, self repairable, and the only one with removable battery, very strong with lightweight, good stability with latest firmware 2.07. Very good accessories like transmount adapter, smallrig handle and arca swiss plate for smallrig cage. Very easy low footage smooth transition with the slung handle. At very reasonable price during christmas. $369 CDN dollars. I have a7c with smallrig cage 3212. The weebill s would be the best for that that allow even bigger lenses like 28-75 or 24-105. Can it take my 70-300. Maybe with the cage as now my a7c is 509g + 192g + weight of the smallrig plate. It should act as a counterweigh

This was really great and helpful. Mine seems to be behaving a little differently, though. For example, pressing POV 3x does nothing, but pressing the trigger 3x engages selfie mode. I'm on a newer version of the gimbal software than when this video was shot, so wondering if that's why. Vortex also doesn't engage in the way you instructed. I gotta do some more digging.

I think you have to turn off the ibis in G9 to make the stabilization better with the gimbal. Most of camera ibis won't work together with gimbal's stabilization.

Hey there! Thanks! I have a Canon 550D which i can test it out on and see if its compatible. You can use it without the cable definitely, just that some features might not be able to work like Motionlapse, Timelapse and Panaroma. If your camera has a built in Timelapse feature that might help. If you are not intending to use those features then that's fine. =)

Question. When you are looking at the ZY play app, do you get the aperture, shutter and ISO info on your phone? The gimbal. shows everything on the gimbal screen but not he app. Also, I wanted to use my iPhone as a monitor using the Panasonic app but the camera greys out the wifi so I cannot connect to the app if the micro USB is in place. Do you have this issue? Thanks for you review above, very useful.

Yeah unfortunately it doesnt show on your ZY App. I’m hoping Zhiyun comes up with a better ZY App like DJI does. I haven’t tried out the Panasonic app but will try it out soon. 😀

The Panasonic app works but you have to unplug the camera from the gimbal and therefore you loose all the functions. I am looking for an easy way to connect the iPhone as a monitor using the HDMI but that seem to need an Apple hdmi to lightening adaptor which is big and gets in the way. Do you ‘now if anyone makes a HDMI to Lightening cable that is short in length? Thanks.

Now having played with the iPhone as a monitor using the Panasonic app, it make more sense to use that instead of Zy. The Panasonic app offer better options and it is easier to change setting like shutter, aperture, colour bal, iso and even pick focus spots. Best solution for G9.👍

As long as you unplug the G9 from the gimbal you can use the Panasonic app which has better controls than the ZY app and the video latency is very good.

​@@TreeTanksDev Hi ... question for everybody. Me and @The Dutchmen both noticed sound coming from the motors when balanced correct and auto tuned. Its a bit annoying especially when recording sound. I really like the gimbal but this makes it a bit less. I did not hear anyone mention it in any reviews. So please let us know if this problem is consistent with every Weebill-s. If so I will contact Zhiyun about this. Thanks in advance.

Hey there! Yeah stabilization wasn't fantastic but i still feel its better than the Ronin-SC. Today i tested the Weebill-S on the Canon EOS RP and the footage looked pretty good. Will release that video in a couple of days time. =)

I'm using a g85 with a small lens. Do you suggest I still make the plate flush with the back of the camera? Cuz there is a lot sticking out in the front and also, I don't need the lens support which is odd cuz the lens is so small

Hey there! Yeah that setup is pretty small so you dont have to flush it. Just position it where the lens support is giving good support to the lens.

Non mi dilungo a parlare del gimbal, che fa il suo dovere e lo fa bene, anzi in maniera egregia, né delle millemila funzioni finalmente azionabili senza praticamente toccare mai lo schermo dello smartphone, né stare a sbavare e lodare quella strepitosa rotella per il fuoco o lo zoom... Voglio spostare la vostra attenzione all'implementazione dell'uso di questo fantastico gimbal con l'app Filmic Pro, un'applicazione che trasforma il vostro smartphone in una vera macchina da presa in miniatura con una facilità d'uso disarmante. Il lavoro degli sviluppatori di questa app è andato oltre ogni previsione e ha reso questo gimbal uno strumento perfetto. Giusto a titolo informativo, "Insane", il recente stupendo film di Soderbergh, è stato INTERAMENTE girato con tre iPhone 7 Plus e l'applicazione Filmic Pro. Vi consiglio di cercare su KZbin il video dal titolo seguente: "FiLMiC Pro + Zhiyun Smooth 4 Tutorial (iOS & Android)" e correrete ad acquistarlo.Caro Osmo Mobile, mi spiace ma è giunta la tua ora.P.S. Secondo tantissimi recensori lo zoom va a scatti su device Android mentre su iOS la fluidità è eccezionale. Spero per i possessori di Android in un aggiornamento che risolva questo bug.*

Axis are uncontrollable and drifting , gimbal is balanced properly.please suggest any solution to it.I am using sony a7s 2 without any cables.
