Good job as always. When I first saw this lens I thought the f was for aperture, lol. I hope it has a metric system version for worldwide users.

Thank you! I agree, metric version would be very welcome.

Rehoused mitakon 35mm f/0.95?
@TheHybridShooter3 жыл бұрын
I don't know.
@TheBobes3 жыл бұрын
I believe so. Re-housed so that it can be used as a video lens.

Awesome review as usual! Question: are there similarities to the Mitakon 35mm F.095?
@TheHybridShooter3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I have no idea, I never used that one.
@TheBobes3 жыл бұрын
I think it's the same lens optically (11 elements in 8 groups, 9 blades). Just re-housed for video work.

Another great review. I'm glad these manual lenses are becoming more popular
@TheHybridShooter3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I actually thing that they are getting less popular, to be honest.

Thanks for the video wish to watch before really liking this lens. Question is this lens true 35mm? Or is 50mm equivalent in full frame?
@TheHybridShooter3 жыл бұрын
Both. It is true 35mm lens, which translates to 50mm full frame equivalent.

Better than SLR Magic? As always, the video is very good. Tks
@TheHybridShooter3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I don't know, I have never used SLR Magic lenses.
@CallMeRabbitzUSVI3 жыл бұрын
Much better, the SLR Magic suffer from being way too soft, with no detail until you stop it all the way down to t3.5 or thereabouts

A comparison with the new Laowa Argus 33mm f/0.95 CF APO would be interesting.

Hello my friend! I just wanted to provide some constructive feedback to help you improve your camera and lens reviews. If possible please get another human to be a model so that we can see how the camera or lens captures living, moving subjects. When we buy these lenses we often use them to film our friends and loved ones so seeing samples of similar shots with other humans can help us make up our minds better than the cute doll or the wrist watch. Keep it up though and I love the content!
@TheHybridShooter3 жыл бұрын
Thank you, I appreciate your feedback! Unfortunately, that is not possible. I make all of the videos on my own, there is no one to assist with that.

@@TheHybridShooter Hey! Maybe I guess to satisfy this guy's need, what if you just put the camera on a tripod, fixed its focus at some distance, and then you get in front of the camera and move in and out of the focus. This will help him see what it would look like as you record your friends moving around or something. But i get it, it's just extra work xD

@Bhagwan Singh Most channels are testing cine lenses by filming people, so I kind of just leave that to other reviewers.

F1....isn't It just marketing bomb? I mean that lens looks not very good up to f4 .... than I would prefer f1.4 but with good contrast all the way .... Pozdravujem

Not at all. T1.0 is usable in real-world situations, as you can see with the flowers and focus pulling shots, especially if you color grade. It is just not suitable for text sharpness testing, T2 is already more than sharp enough for 4K video across the frame. Tiež pozdravujem.

these Chinese lenses always have poor performance wide open smh
