This song was published in 2016 as the theme music of Chinese animated movie, Big Fish & Begonia. Its original singer is just Zhou Shen. Although he performed in The Voice of China in 2014, he was not well-known after that. This song helped him to be heard by the public, but a lot of people, including me, who didn't know him before thought the singer was a girl.... Initially he was just assigned to sing a demo for this song. When producers of this movie heard it, they were surprised and felt it so nice. And meanwhile they couldn't find an adequate famous singer. So they choose Zhou SHEN to sing the formal version. After several years I finally found the astonishing fact that Zhou Shen singing Big Fish was a boy! Recent years he insisted to participate in many music programmes like Super Vocal, 中国梦之声·我们的歌(Our Songs), Singer 2020 and some reality shows. And in 2020 he became one of the most popular singers in China. Although he has sung a lot of songs, he still usually chose Big Fish as the first performance in most occasions. He said that was because he was known by the public through this song, he wanted to be heard and known by more people and tell them he is the singer of Big Fish.

If you want more of his high notes, you can react to "Upwards to the moon" (A#3-B5) where he duet with a soprano. Probably the most unique song is Dalabengba from Singer 2020 (where he sang in 5 different voices).

Ceci You should watch Zhou Shen singing Upwards to the moon... It will blow your socks off, also there are two songs you should see were he sings in 4/5 different voices ranging from very high to very low...Dalabengba with English subs and Niko Niko this one was for a game. In both of these he dose all the voices and all the backing, Hope you get to see them. There is one more that you should see and that is Think of me.. watch the one were he is in white kneeling down between two seats, it is so good.
