Zhou Yu was one of the greatest strategists ever. Great warrior. If only he had lasted just a little bit longer than he did..... a contest between Zhou Yu, Zhuge Liang, & Sima Yi... That's something I'd love to see. Wu had alot of strategists. Lu Su, Lu Meng, & Lu Xun... they were all pretty good. I'd still put Zhou Yu at the top of the list.

I'd have to agree... Although I'd want to clear up that: Historically, Zhuge Liang cannot fight and is not as bright as he is in the novel; he basically stole many to his credit... And that Zhou Yu had no rivalry with him whatsoever.

Switching to the Bo Staff was one of the best decissions they took about Zhou Yu, it made him stand out over the rest of Warriors and his Rain of Fire combo is one of the strongest you can use in the game.

i so much love the way he fights with his sword in 3 4 and 5. i relied upon him and that style a massive amount in the Wu storyline of warriors orichi 2. Always good to have such a steady familiar style within reach

Nice video ^^. he was my favourite character back in DW2 5 because of his looks and his mystic-like sword fighting/dancing style. I think the sword suited him more than the staff because I read up in the novel that he was an exceptional sword dancer I think... XD. I was hoping they returned the sword to him back in DW9 ;~;. Still, I think the staff is a cool move set ^^.

Zhou Yu woed ever being born in the same era as Zhuge Liang. What this means is that he believed he could have achieved much more if there was not someone as smart as Zhuge to get in his way. In essence, this is the opposite thinking that Sima Yi had of Zhuge because after Zhuge died, he felt there was none left to challenge him in strategy and retired.

In reality Zhuge Liang had nothing to do with Zhou Yu's death though. Zhou Yu never had rivalry with Zhuge Liang, and Zhuge Liang was not as great as described in the Romance.
