So bill Walton in his prime is the best center of all time? Prime year vs prime year, this center, walton is the best I have ever seen based on this vid. U got perfect timed blocks, on ball defense. Good box out rebounds, low post scoring, mid range jumpers. even uses the glass. He is unstoppable. And the passes. Wow that's jokic

I'm old enough to have followed his brief NBA career. Walton excelled in every phase of the game. He was a complete center - man defense, rebounding, shot blocking, shooting, and his best, passing - perimeter, interior, and one of the greatest outlet passers ever. @@ChrisDalton0099 so like I said it has progressed

@Cellynoseitall Progressed is subjective. You also said an average player today would be an all-time great back then, and I addressed that in my previous comment, but you chose to ignore it.

@@ChrisDalton0099 progress is subjective 🤣🤣 since when . When you watch this video you can’t see these players wouldn’t make a nba roster today . I understand the sport has to start somewhere but it’s no denying the worst team today imop would smack the world champion team of this era . It would be brutal .
@ChrisDalton00995 ай бұрын
@Cellynoseitall I've already explained why you can't just drop players in eras and assume they'd be better or worse, but again, you just glossed over that. Or maybe you just lack reading comprehension skills?

People need to stop calling everyone the GOAT it's getting ridiculous.

He’s one of the few 5,000 to win mvp and win 2 championships he is a all time great 😤

There is no possible defense for calling player who player three seasons "One of the Greatest Centers Ever." To be great, you have to play. Walton didn't play enough.
@zhugelianges2 жыл бұрын
Not saying he is "One of the Greatest Centers Ever", just saying his peak is one of the best peak in NBA history. We all know he is far away from being called as GOAT Center...

Sure there is because he was. It's as simple as that. 😊

I basically agree (although he did play more than 3 seasons). There’s no denying what Bill accomplished in college and in his limited time in the NBA (couple of college chips, 2 NBA chips, MVP, 6th Man). But longevity must figure in when you’re talking about all time greatest. Natural ability includes staying relatively injury free. It may not be fair, but there it is.
