I think what made "Bob Marley: One Love" so successful is that the world needs to see and listen to what real love is. The world is so negative these days and Bob Marley's music is all about love, peace and understanding. I saw the film and I loved it. After I walked out of the theater, I listened to his "Legend" album and then I put on "Three Little Birds". When he sang his iconic lines "Don't Worry About a Thing" and "Every Little Thing is Gonna Be Alright" I started getting very teary eyed. I was going through so much recently and listening to that song made me stay strong, be in the moment cuz it's true, everything is gonna be alright.

I'm not a fan of Biopics...especially of entertainment greats. But, I have to admit I loved this movie so much my eyes were welling up at times. I thought about it and it was the message that was ringing through. I HAD to go see it again.....and I've Never gone to see a movie twice in my adult life. .....and I am tempted to hit it one more time while it is still in theaters.

Loved the movie and love, Bob Marley. I was a bit disappointed for the general audience, it did not specifically detail Jamaica’s connection to Ethiopia and / or Haile Selassie. It will be a skip for me. Ziggy profits off the name and the fame without paying his dues. Bob was a revolutionary with strong thoughts and ideas of lifting up the downtrodden and the producers didn’t even try to embody this spirit.
