Theres just so many things to go about this car and yes lot of quirks here and there but just to put it out there, this COSTS about 1/4th of what a similarly speced foreign made car! JUST THE FACT THAT ITS COSTING 22-25L is INSANE! Hats off to Mahindra to go above and beyond !

Thank you! The 79kWh pack will definitely add a layer of comfort and outside of the road trip requirement, also widen charging gaps during regular usage. We’re trying to get both battery packs range tested together to extrapolate the difference in real world range as closely as possible but expect 120-150km of added range with the bigger battery per full charge.

The XUV e8 concept is supposed to turn into the XUV700 electric. The BE family starts with the BE 6e (or BE 6, now that the name has changed) and moves up from there to the BE 7 & 9 (which may become the BE 8 and Be 10 if Mahindra switches to even numbers like they did with the BE 6)

I am yet to see the XUV/BE in the flesh and experience it but just listening to you and seeing everything online my product summary would be this. The 9e and 6e are DESI DESIRABLE LUXURY ELECTRIC cars that would not be out of place among other European, Japanese or Korean rivals! Great conversation ZigWheels.

Tesla had build a supercharging network and offered their initial models free charges for life. An EV car is incomplete without a charging network. Don't fall for the hype with this vehicle.

@@alileevil Tesla's first car, the Roadster, was delivered to customers in February 2008 but Tesla introduced its Supercharger network on September 24, 2012(4 saal ka faraq babu).....Its like network sim, 4g 100% coverage hone ke lia rook rahe the ki lelia tha than eventually within 4 yrs it got widespread(same here) already we have chargers(30kwh) in every popular route, just fast chargers install karne baki hai......2ndly hype is real, 1st car in the market to be soo banger on paper, kyu na ho hype

The gear selection missing a lock for reverse or atleast a warning is a shocking and scary miss. Compounded by a soft actuation. Accidentally shifting gear in traffic bad enough. Accidentally shifting to reverse crazy.

ICE to EV is supposed to bring down prices and reduce carbon emissions. In fact the opposite is happening on both fronts. Pushing insane amounts of money for marketing and recovering it with a huge profit margin from customers. It wont last even 400 km which is the least a long distance traveller drives a day. Usually an average long haul driver cruises around 500 to 600 kms per day. People now a days easily get deceived by looks instead of utility. Good luck Mahindra you nailed it with design.

EVs are the future, one can delay it, the more delay it we oay the price. Now the global car manufacturers are suffering except China. Chinese EVs are on a constant rise. The sooner we adopt it the better and its especially better for India. Low noise pollution and air pollution in Indian cities. Chinese reduced their pollution in just 10 years through EV adoption. Mainstream media wont show it .

Should’ve clarified, that is the premium pricing we’re saying it’s worth in the context of competitors. Keep in mind the base price is for the smaller battery pack and it’s just the introductory price. An 80kWh battery pack with the kind of features this car has seems worth that kind of money
