Lily Mu he has also stated in forum replies hat he used to record himself practising with a metronome, then slow the recording down to catch any timing mistakes. If he was off by even a hair of a second, he would practise again and again till he got the timing perfect. Now that's how he got so good! Haha

His drumming is complex and includes so many variations, yet so crisp and each note sounds so distinct. Gavin's drumming is so tasty and insanely creative, it is in itself a complete song and doesn't need other instruments. I have observed Danny Carey, Portnoy ....yet Gavin's drumming appears more classy and appeals more to my music sense

Gavin Harrison has always cited Simon Phillips as one of his biggest influences, but I've always felt like they've had their own unique styles. The playing here feels very Simon Phillips-y, though!

+鈴木和音 He wets his finger, that way if you rub it up against the drumhead, you can influence the tone while it dies away... Head must be tuned low enough though, otherwise you're not able to influence the vibrations with that little force...
