as someone w an indoor pool, theyre literally so bad if done incorrectly. The past owners of my house had a wheelchair bound son and he used the pool for physical therapy or something. They did it DIY by just building a wall around the pool and the wood is literally peeling apart from the humidity
@madison88673 жыл бұрын
Sarah, I have literally been to a tiny looking ranch house that was decorated in that excessive Greek maximalist style, and I was told they had a pool. We pulled up and there was no way this place had a pool-it was a tiny neighborhood and the houses were on top of each other. We get inside, I was assaulted by the mirrored walls and pillars, colored glassware and sparkle THEN I was led into the BASEMENT, walked across to the other side and went back up the opposite stairs into the tiny ranch house behind this one, only to see the entire house was gutted to make an indoor pool, not only that, but carpeted. And with pillars. Truly the weirdest thing I’ve ever experienced.

One time my brother, mom, and I were looking for a house when I was in 5th grade. We really liked this house on a golf course, and in the bedroom was a swing. My innocent self asked my mother if I could swing on it, and she abruptly said "God, no." It was a sex swing. When we went to the basement, there was a woman, an elderly lady, a baby, and a toddler all talking Russian. We left so quickly. I thought it was a fever dream until my mom brought it up a few weeks ago.
