Hey Cameron I think you are using the wrong number for excess cash. It appears that you are using the numbers for "short term investments". Is there any reason that you are using that figure. On the 10k it shows that "cash and cash equivalants" is $1.7 billion for 2020 and $1.41 billion for 2019. I am confused? Was this in error or did you mean to use "short term investment " number intentionally?

This stock trades OTC and with such low volume and the fact that it’s a federal illegal business (meaning no institutional investors) that it’s hard to base its solid earnings and margins on what it’s share price should be
@jcd46343 жыл бұрын
@@14soccercrazed I would agree, as would Cameron (He did a review of it a few months ago here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/op_LfolsdrZnatU ), that it is dependent on becoming legalized in the next 10 years. My question is more around, could a stumble early on, limit their growth enough in the early years that it would impact the long run price. That is a sort of sensitivity analysis he didn't do and I wonder if he does that normally or if he does that after news shows up impacting the stock. It's more a, "What do you do when the story changes?" question.

Hello Cameron, big fan of your analysis usually but I am very curious: why are your estimates so damn low? Consensus estimates for 2025 are over $23bn in total revenues. Your *2030* estimate is $16bn. Makes no sense unless you’re a mega bear on this company (which it sounds like you aren’t). Management even reiterated on call that they are on track for $20bn in homes revenues in the next 3-5 years. Love the content, but your assumptions are disingenuous at best…

Cameron. Love the videos. Please READ!!!! You spend a ton of time doing so much great research only to butcher the most important part of your price prediction. The market multiples you choose have insane effects on your target price. These market multiples are NOT multiples that simply get applied to a company and don't change in time. They WILL contract as growth slows. Your model projects that in 10 years revenue growth will be closer to 10% instead of 20%. Makes a ton of sense. But the idea that the EV/EBITDA multiple will stay at 25 is false. Also, you said it yourself that the EBITDA and FCF will track each other in a business like Zillow. Then shouldn't the market multiples you use reflect that. If you use 25x on EV/EBITDA then it seems like you should use 4% on the FCF yield. If you use more conservative assumptions like 18x on EBITDA and 5.5% on FCF. Your price targets are 125 and 100!!!!. The true grade for this stock is. "Lease idiotic of the crap Cathie owns"
@CstewartCFA3 жыл бұрын
Hi Aaron, That's a very good comment and I appreciate the feedback. I'll review my multiples of growth companies going forward. I look at companies like Amazon, NetFlix, SalesForce and other all of which have help very high multiples for long periods of time and Zillow is such a driving force in the RE market (I can't think of another competitor with equal capability) that I want to give them some extra credit. I could be wrong.

Great video 👍👍... Zillow has an earnings yield of less than 1. A price to cash flow ratio of 50..... High valuations.. They continue to dilute the shares outstanding.... Wiki says Flipping is defined as "Flipping is a term used primarily in the United States to describe purchasing a revenue-generating asset and quickly reselling (or "flipping") it for profit." Perhaps Zillow does not make any money on the sale of the houses, but certainly it does not seem the financial press (fool, bloomberg, cnn, etc.) thinks that given the number of articles I found on google by searching "does zillow house flip".
