Ok, so many of you ask how long it takes and program to use. I work on this around 6 months, on & off sporadically in my spare time, and i use adobe animate cc. This one is the longest and hardest to make for me, since its frame by frame not like my other colored one. Edit : Enjoy, lol

A lot of people are wondering what makes almost everyone root for the small guy. There were several subtle psychological tricks that may have caused the vast majority of people to root for the little guy. First of all, he's standing on the left, giving us some sense that we have to get past the big guy. Also the small guy's face is shown earlier and more often, making him more familiar to us. And besides that the huge guy, even though he's in a lot of pain and the fight is equally hard for him, hides it better, whilst the small guy's struggle is clearly shown even forcing him to take painkillers mid-fight, making him more relatable to us.

@@0bez704 I have been in fights, and for the most part it's pretty accurate. That is apart from the fancy kicks, flips and backrolls, and the magic drink and rush. Which is what the original comment meant, this looks more realistic than any other animation fight. On how they tire quickly, on how the big guy holds the other guy down and tries to keep I'm there while trying to hit his head, when the big guy is being held down in a disadvantageous position he tries to elbow him, and how slow the movement reflects how tired they are getting, aswell as them pausing at the times to catch a breath, the guy trying to chokehold him, the big guy battering him against the ground to prevent it. He didn't mean this how a real fight is exactly through and through, literallyll, but is by far the most or one of the most realistic in any animation, and the little details in the animation shows the animator as a notion of what a real fight is like, it's obviously greatly embellished in the the things aforementioned for entertainment. Real fights can end up very prolonged where neither have the upper hand and just attrition themselves out and eitheir give up or somebody separates them, which is the most common. One curbstomps the other, which is common but not as much as the first. Or insta knockout, which is very rare, if you get a lucky shot to the chin.

This is the kind of fight that everyone enjoys! There's a clear underdog, yet the big guy doesn't act like a complete moron because of it. Both of them fight dirty, using their various attributes like size, strength, speed, endurance and boosters to their advantage, with neither giving an inch for any reason other than that they were simply bested at that moment. This animation is the blueprint for an awesome fight scene! And I hope that anyone who watches this will learn from its example.

Fun fact for those of you who are watching this in 2019; there was once a martial artist who had wanted to win any fight he found himself in, so he studied alchemy (the practice of making medicine and potions from nature) and learned how to make a potion that would make him stronger, faster, and more robust. However, he knew that he was bringing shame upon himself as a warrior for doing this, so he would pray to Buddha for forgiveness every time he took the drug. Medical experts theorize that this was the world's first steroid/ performance enhancing drug.

Doesn't take a trained eye to tell this is a masterpiece. I enjoyed every moment. I especially liked how you could feel the difference in power between hits with varying amounts of momentum. For example hits when one of them is in a hold aren't that powerful cause you can't get a lot of momentum but when they land a clean hit with a lot momentum the animation does a good job at emphasizing the impact of those heavier hits like the other is clearly winded or coughing up blood after a hit like that etc.

Funny enough before I knew what shadowboxing was i used to imagine fighting the people who i had previously fought, and I mean not like someone messing around but I had remembered there movements and fought them as if they were there eventually adding others of whom I've fought with, its difficult but it helps with stress, I'm striving to *hopefully* become a professional fighter, but I know its difficult and not something that can be done easily, I just hope one day I'll be able to😅

yeah that move is really dangerous against stronger opponent if he would've continued it he was gonna go ko
@Puppyboy986 жыл бұрын
But even then, the size difference, and taking into account the larger man looks extremely buff would make that move nearly impossible. Especially for the smaller guy. That, and the sheer fact he was able to hold on after being repeatedly hit in the head by him is a bit out there, no?

i don't think that potion made him stronger, it just enhanced his reflexes and gave him quicker reaction time.

More like a Thug vs a Kickboxer. The shorter guy moves look alot like boxing when using punches, but not also that. In his form to make distance he is quick on his feet, i'd say he's kind of an out-fighter

I probably come back to watch all of these animations every few months, they are so amazing
@littlesneets8026 Жыл бұрын
everything about this fight, is just really good attention to detail. - the weight of their attacks is there, you can feel the impact with the motion, and you can see that in their exhaustion their attacks become more sluggish and slower as the fight continues. the underdog only gets a boost to have more energy to fight, but even he's being worn out. the heavy breaths being taken, you know this fight is tiring, as most real fights are. - these hits hurt like hell. a punch, a kick, no matter how strong you are, you're not going to tank a hit like in superhero films and keep fighting like you just got tapped, these kicks and punches really do make you curl up in pain for a bit, and the animation shows that beautifully. - neither the underdog nor the brute are idiots. agility and speed against a braun and strength isn't played in bias of anyone for plot convenience sake, here they're both using technique that is appropriate for them, and it does something. besides the directing of how this scene plays out, the animation did a good job at capturing the motion and impacts. this animation might look simple, black and white with rough sketching, but honestly the delicate details really add to this in ways i think most media lack. people want the flashy, bright colours, stupidly fast paced combat, but a fight shown as it is, a tiresome scuffle, is pretty refreshing.

@@rxycl0 yeah I like that because it didn't actually work, not everything is done correctly or works perfectly in fights. It was the choke that knocked him out, but instead his head slamming into pavement.

I've heard that when you're really in the heat of the fight, you can take some crazy blows and keep going because of adrenaline. It's really only after do you hate your life because you start to feel everything you bruised and broke. Of course, these two characters are fictional super soldiers, and some of the blows to the head here would most likely topple even the most resilient fighter.

It's an equalizer. He would have had no stamina for the offense he had to put out to break down the larger fellow. I especially like how he didn't make the big guy dumb, and he actually fought very technical as well. I would have been happy with either result.

David would be a metaphor for a smaller man landing a big lucky shot on Goliath the giant. Not fully skilled ninja man with superior kata vs Bob sapp type.
