I had to watch this to refresh me before playing shenmue 2 on Dreamcast with a widescreen hex patch and somebody more brilliant than myself took the English voices from the Xbox version and put them onto a Dreamcast GDI. Essentially a perfect English version on the Dreamcast

Shenmue taught me a lot about what life over there in Yokosuka Japan looked like. I miss those days playing this, I was so hyped buying all kinds of stuff from there. This game, along with Ocarina of time and Mario 64 were the first truly 'next gen' games. Shenmue showed that complex and meaningful story telling was possible in videogames. As a child of the 80's and one who has now grown tired of gaming, i beg of the developers of this game to finish the story. Of everything Sega ever did, this was their crowning achievement. Since they abandoned real games they should show their respect at least by allowing another company to make this for a small fee. Plz!

I got the movie with the game for Xbox. Prior to that I played it on demo. I wanted it...I love the shenmue world. First time I watched shenmue one the way he takes on nozumis attackers. "Anytime..." It grew a core part of my personality. My little heart beat out of my chest watching ryu throw those guys a perfect ass beating. He became my hero then and there. I'd emulate him at school one strapping my school bag and it turned me into a feisty little shit XD I love you ryu.

Just got a DC for the first time and i immediately downloaded the iso and figured out how to burn the games. This was one of the first games that i burned (to three discs) along with Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi. This game is pretty damn cool! Now i just have to learn more about the gameplay/story. I also need a vga adapter since the dreamcast kinda looks muddy with just regular composite cable on an HD tv. Thanks for uploading this video! I'm gonna watch the whole thing!
