You were half right. Jaguars _are_ short scale. This guitar, however, is based on a Jazzmaster, not a Jag, so it has the standard longscale neck.

Have you ever checked the pickup routing of the body? Is it a swimming pool routing (so that any pickup can be installed without routing the body)?

That is the exact same guitar I was looking at myself (in left-hand). I came really close to pulling the trigger on it. There is something about the cream-ish finish and dark red pickguard that really speaks to me. I like the design too. This one sounds pretty good. I am 100% that through my Kemper amp I would either way get any tone possible but maybe switch out the pickups and add a bone nut of sorts. This seems to be a guitar that will require upgrades like pots so on.

They make them with this pickguard now, so its no longer photo-guard, really nice touch imo

Those pickups aren't p90s,jazzmaster pups are different than p90s

Right those are single coil traditional Jazzmaster pups. I have a Jazzmaster with A 90 pups that are P90's

@@davidkastin4240 Exactly. It's funny because the reviewer said the guitar owner wanted a guitar with P-90s. And so he bought a guitar ... that doesn't have P-90s. I wish the reviewer could somehow correct his video to reflect the true natue of the pickups.

Pretty sure they are P90's, remember this is a Harley Benton not a Fender. If it's the same spec as my HB J style then they are P90's.
