This is the 2nd review i've seen on this microphone and i am sold to get this for my podcast. I would have preferred you showed what's the difference in sound when you move further away from the mic. For me who wants to buy it for teaching where I would be near a white board at least 5 feet away from it.

What's the build quality like? Also what would you say is the maximum ideal speaking distance is from the mic?

Build quality seems decent, the pop filter is mediocre at best, so honestly I’d recommend an aftermarket pop filter that’s made of fabric over the plastic one they sent. But the mic seems solid. Metal case. This is a close quarters mic, so much farther than a foot or two you will probably start getting some background noise

So it’s a standard mic holder screw. Any mic stand or mic boom will work with it. Not sure of the exact type, but it’s the 5/8 -27 thread connector.

Could be something with the driver possibly? You may try on a different computer and see if it’s the mic itself, or the computer.

There isn’t a mute button on the mic. Just like any other condenser on the market in the “pro” arena. One option is to turn the gain all the way down, but that’s not really a good way. I just use discord’s mute function if I need to mute while talking to friends.
