Sempre usato il boot out in home studio! E,?????? OK SEMPRE UN VINILE CAMBIANDO IL SELETTORE, QUINDI SIAMO SEMPRE A 4 CANALI! INSOMMA?? NESSUNA IDEA😅? IL 5 CANALE VERAMENTE 5 CANALE HO LA MASCHINE MK2....E DOVE LA HO MESSA QUESTA CAVOLO DI MASCHINE CHE VA IN SYNC CON TRAKTOR E FUNZIONA COME IN UNO DEI 4 CANALI??? ATTENDO APPASSIONATI CHE PRIMA DI PENSARE USANO A PRESCINDERE IL CUORE....❤❤

I have a question please. I’m a mobile DJ looking at purchasing one of these to further tailor/enhance/limit front of house sound. The remote app also appeals to me. My system is 2x EV EKX-12P active tops and 2x EV EKX-18SP active subwoofers. The DSP control on these speakers have the option to system-match the crossover i.e. the high pass for the tops can be set to EKX-18SP (or other EV models) and the low pass for the subs can be set to EKX-12P (or other EV models). Would I be able to route the signal flow/configure the settings in the DriveRack so the above is maintained? I don’t want the DriveRack crossover controls to supersede the speakers’ system-matched settings. N.B. The outputs on EKX subwoofers are hardwired as a thru output (no DSP out) i.e. they’re always sending a full range signal (see this video explanation - EV ELX200, EKX & ETX Crossovers | How they work and why they are not good options for column arrays - KZbin). Any help appreciated.

They key to thisvideo, that you don't get until the end 15:20, is the location of the fixtures. I you have an incorrect folder, it may have very inconsistent results. Also, I find that the new fixture does not appear because the .xml file FixtureMap.xml is not being udated. If I am able to trick around and get the fixture to load, it will be missing in the very next session of QLC. Probably a bug.

Great video! I want to use the speaker as a multipurpose, to play and sing in small venues, just voice and guitar and also the option of backing tracks and my voice, as well as being able to use it as an electric guitar amplifier to play with my band, pass the guitar through a boss gt-1 and direct to the speaker, which one would serve me better? Should I spend the extra on the 15? or it is not worth the expense, really the shows are for a maximum of 50 people No sub in mind for the moment, just the speaker by itself

Hi, I use a netgear wifi box and controlling it by my phone, twice the dbx has frozen up and can't do anything to the dbx until I turn it off then back on again and its fine then, I just wondered have anyone had any problems like this, it's only does this when the netgear box is plugged into the dbx driverack pa2 but not always just twice. Thanks

Thanks for sharing. This was helpful because I just bought a pair of ZLX G2 15". Right off the bat I had them under tremendous pressure supporting our live jazz band scenarios. I saw how the internal 'limiter' probably saved my butt. I'm going to study them more to see how to best deploy them in my band use case. I plan to a couple of subs to go with them and just keep adding on. I love them.

sound guy here. I hate it when DJs use the booth monitors as their personal little party sound system when they're playing at my club. you don't use your booth monitors constantly. turn them off when you don't need them. turn them on only when you need them. you should be able to mix properly and perfectly fine when you have headphones. if you're going to use a microphone to talk to the crowd, turn down or turn off your booth monitors. I have no patience for DJs that blast with monitors then look befuddled when they get feedback the minute they turn on the microphone. I warned every single DJ about this and the amateurs will always get this wrong. you're not going to be able to get a clean microphone signal and your voice projected in the mains if it's picking up your booth monitors.. it's just going to try to re amplify what it hears in those monitors back through the system back through the system back through the system. that's why they call it feedback. it's a feedback loop. turn off your goddamn Booth monitors. they're called monitors because they're used for monitoring the sound. you don't need to monitor the sound constantly. if the room your DJing in has excessive reflections.. like at a warehouse or at a small club that has bear walls opposite the speakers, you're going to get an echo / reverb that might make it difficult to beat match.. if your earphones are not getting you out of the problem, turn up the booth monitors. turn them down after you finish your mix. I've had DJs blast the booth monitors they have a full DJ booth of their girls and boys drinking and dancing having a blast and I look out at the dance floor and I see no one dancing. why? because all the DJ hears is that the booth monitor sound great, so I walk into the booth and I shut off the booth monitors instantly they look at me because it sounds like s*** in the mains. either they were distorting because they had the master too high or the master was way too low so it was quiet out in the main floor.. and I tell them, "this is what you sound like for the rest of the club"... DJs need to shut off the monitors so that they can hear what the crowd hears. they can make adjustments based on what the crowd hears. amateurs will constantly turn up the booth monitors so loud that it drowns out the main pa. remember the booth monitor is a completely different circuit within the mixer, and it is being sent to a separate amp and speaker system than the mains. the separate system allows the system engineer to use less DSP, reducing latency and customizing the EQ curve specifically for the booth. in other words the booths output at a club will sound different than the main pa. often there's a lot more headroom, compressor and limiter settings are very different for booth outputs. because it's meant to give a DJ a very flat and transparent representation of the music with as little processing as possible to reduce latency. it is not a true representation of what is being played in the master output. if you find yourself turning the booth volume a little bit higher and a little bit higher as the night progresses, it is because you are blasting your eardrums out and it might sound quieter to you, but it is not getting quieter. you're turning it up thinking that somehow the volume is turning down on you? it's not having Booth monitors that close to your ears and blasting it to the level that the mains are pumping spl, you are permanently damaging your hearing. I mean do what you want, I can only warn you. but if you're going to have a ton of people dancing in your booth, you better turn down that Booth monitor otherwise I'm going to storm in there and just remove the knob. you can put your own hearing at risk, but you don't get to make that decision for drunk club goers. good sound engineers will go into the "club settings" of their equipment and make adjustments based on the system.. but often the DJ monitor circuit is left as untouched as it can for transparency purposes.. then you were Pioneer mixers allow for live adjustments to these settings, but the older djm mixers needed to be power cycled before any new settings take effect.. so don't assume that this house system has limiters that will take care of any signal that is too loud in your booth monitors.. often, a DJ being careless will blow the booth monitors before this main system is anywhere near the danger zone.. and I guarantee you you won't get booked there again if that's what you do.

Hey thanks for this series. I'm a novice DJ (home and mix cloud). I've acquired a few dmx lights that also have remotes. Controlling all of those lights with remotes plus the 30+ lifx bulbs in my home on an app is too much to do for my small brain. Been looking for a way to combine control of lifx and dmx. Your videos are helping me get there. Instead of a Pi, I'll probably run everything on my lappy. Thank you again for the video!
