Oh God, how I missed Japan so much. But I’ve never been to Foukoka Ken yet. Then this become my dream. I’m going to this place wherever it is. Thanks for the video. Looks so appetizing and yummy. Cu soon handsome Chef, and beautiful staffs. Good work, job well done.
I live in Fukuoka, and it has the absolute best food culture in Japan and it never disappoints, this place is fantastic, you just can’t beat the food in Japan, especially in Fukuoka, I definitely would recommend this place. You go in hungry, but you’ll leave happy. 😊

@@janelee7406 Hi I got my hotel to book for me as I don't speak Japanese. But please get your hotel to help you on your first day in Fukuoka as the restaurant is always fully booked. Their potato salad, terayaki cod and grilled king prawns were good. The sardines had a lot of tiny bones and I didn't really enjoy as I was afraid of the bones (but the taste is still good). Highly highly recommended.

Very interesting. Would like to hear how they eat the sardines since they still have their scales and innards. Is the center hole the charcoal is stacked over a gas burner or an air bellows? What is their process for adding new charcoal when the old is burned and they need to redo it to keep the cooking going? Guessing it has to be replaced multiple times during a meal period.
@zinseimeshi8 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment.The internal organs of sardines are not shown in the video, but they are being pre-processed.When you eat, you just bite.The perforated charcoal is Oga charcoal, which burns for about two hours, adding new charcoal before it burns out.They are also adjusting the reservation time for customers so that they don't burn out
Apologies for asking but anything similar to this in Osaka?

Lots of people are commenting about wanting to go to this restaurant so let me share my experience. I visited this restaurant and I spoke in Japanese (I live in Tokyo) and was told that there are no seats. It was weird since I could see a few open seats but assumed it was reserved. I was talking to my friend right next to the restaurant and 3 Japanese ladies entered and asked if there were seats (they stated they don't have a reservation) and were seated immediately. I checked the reviews and found a lot of tourists are turned away. I entered again and this time another staff member greeted us. She immediately seated us. The food was great but the experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Don't just look at the video, check the reviews before going to any restaurant. Ya the staff are cute and the food is amazing. If you plan to go, make a reservation.
