His S3 doesn't actually hit that hard. It's based off Current HP, but not a percent. In a later clip, he uses his S3 on the Ran and it only deals 4k damage. The ATK scaling on it is 0.2 and it says it scales off 18.75% of the enemy's current HP (not sure how accurate that is).

The new dataminer confirmed that at 100% HP, the S3 has 18.75% more damage. For every 1% of hp lost on the target, it drops by .1875%.

they need to balance a guaranteed turn 1 ofc. so they make his s1 useless without s3(unless you wanna build him 100% crit), and his s3 a pure control skill with no interaction with anything basically(can't crit for cavel fs/probably can't proc closer too).

Zio s3 doesnt hit for 10k fixed damage. It deals aproximately 45% of target current's healt (you can see in the video that Zio only hit ran for 4.5k).

That's actually very good to know. I read that as damage is based off target's current % HP, which obviously would always be 100% if he gets T1 so assumed it would always be the same.

@@DrSquirrel is not based on HP% but HP, so it will deal higher damage to higher HP targets and lower damage to lower HP targets. I think it was made intentionally this way so Zio is not an opener oneshoter and don't proc weird things like closer charles but still do decent damage.

She gets the attack buff after she counters, so the 8.6k to the Choux was without attack buff. As for Zio, he is not Ludwig or Ervalen. He is the chapter 4 boss. So the next in the line of Arch Meru -> Straze -> Belian -> Zio.

Unfortunately Adin doesn't get Attack buff before S2 unless equipped with Moonlight Dream Blade :(

Adin hit choux (defense broken) without attack buff, if you run her on MLDB, she gives herself attack buff BEFORE she procs S2, so she does more dmg in anticleave, also her S3 doesn't reset the enemy, it reduces her own cooldown on S3 when she hits a dark hero... I spent the last 3 minutes of the video screaming at my computer screen

I encountered a pretty strong Adin in arena, she hit very hard & dodged everything. She still got clapped after some non dodges but pretty solid looks like.

Remember that 50% damage reduction is huge. Sage Vivian even has 70% and what is her biggest weakness? Rimuru's s3 and burns and Uberius Tooth procs.

So they nerfed Hwayong, did not follow up with any other broken units and now they are releasing Zio which is just overstacked and cranked to 11. Gotta make sure only the broken MLs are broken so people overspend on those I guess... I cant even.
