Zip World Caverns. Wales. So what do you give an old man for his Birthday that wants nothing but adventure. My son and his wife Stace had the best idea, a day out at the Caverns. Thanks to them i had a great Birthday, one to remember.

A wonderful gift, i always say don't bother with birthdays just ring me for a good chat but this year they wanted to take me out. Fantastic day, a bit of a challenge as well. The monkey bars i just couldn't get a good grip on them, good to have a go though and no shame in getting older, cheers mate and thanks for watching.

There was so much of the course that just didn't film well, too dark. If i ever go again then i would take a good torch. I had the head cam on all round but only what you see came out ok. My son and wife did it last year for there anniversary and loved it so i'm sure that you and Kirsteen would too. Cheers mate.

They were building that when we were there several years back. We did the outside zip wires and my wife and son did the huge trampolines. Looked amazing. Don't feel bad about the overhead ladder. Three more than I'd have managed. 😂😂😂😂

The outside zips where closed due to high winds on the day, proper cold as well so wouldn't of fancied that but the caverns are fantastic, it's like a rabbit warren down there. The gopro didn't film too well in the low light so lost a lot of footage, happy with what i got though. As soon as i set off on the monkey bars i knew i was in trouble, no excuses just couldn't do it, but glad i tried. We are going back in summer to have a go at the outside zips so i'm looking forward to that. Thanks for watching mate and ATB. Jim.

I have a great liking for caves and I used to go out hunting for mineral specimens in these fantastic places. I have always been amazed at the beauty of natures natural formations, plus the silence found in caves save for the occasional plop of dripping water. A most enjoyable video adventure. Cheers! Thank you John, my kids know i don't really want them buying gifts on my birthday, it's just great to see them or at the very least a good chat on the phone, but for them to come up with this just blew me away. The caves where fantastic i'm just sorry the camera didn't do them justice. I wish i'd taken a decent torch. The silence is different down there almost a vacuum. Not being able to see the bottom added to the experience as well, so dark in places but a wonderful day out one ill remember. Thanks for watching John and i hope you are well. Jim.

I remember this part of Wales back in the 70s and 80s riding by on the bike and it was dead nothing going on round there. This is a real attraction now, it's doing really well and i'm not surprised a brilliant day out. They have some outside zips as well really long ones and also a woodland course so i recon ill be back at some point. Cheers Si and thanks for watching.

My last vid yet to edit and upload is a 10 mile circular walk in the Eden valley, no more ridges, zip lines or snowy wild camps i'm afraid but there is plenty of time for that when i get out again. You have to go round a small circuit with a guide first to show you can use the safety equipment. It is a bit intimidating at first but great fun and you soon get used to it. Hope you have a good time. Thanks for watching.

Not sure what it costs Tony, my boy sorted it for my birthday but he booked on line so a google search should tell you. They say to expect three hours but we got round in an hour and half and there is some training before you set off, that's about half an hour as well. Great day out, so much fun, highly recommended.
