Firstly the Crown prosecution and Manchester Police spent one year talking to Greenwood and his girlfriend and found NOTHING that could convict Greenwood of the charges. Manchester United spent six months too extensively studying the facts and came to the conclusion that Greenwood did not commit the offences claimed! If you read Richard Arnold’s statement from August last year he clearly states that the audio recording is shorter recording of a much larger clip and does not pose the true picture! The entire evidence and the recording is kept private for the sake of the privacy of Greenwood’s girlfriend! She always maintained that her phone was hacked and Mason did not commit those offences!The fact that you decide upon an individual’s career based upon some online evidence with no knowledge of the facts shows how big plastic fans you are!

They are either guilty or not guilty, and if they are not found guilty they are entitled to the presumption of innocence under the law. You would have the same rights if you were ever charged with a crime. The principle of innocent until proven guilty is the cornerstone of the legal system in civilised countries. Many countries don't respect that, but I'm sure you wouldn't want your country to be like them. Yes, we've all heard the tape, or at least the same 15-second fragment that you heard. The police, the CPS and the club heard the full recording. The CPS dropped the charges and the club said he was innocent. So you'll forgive me if I trust their judgement rather than yours.
