In my opinion, slow mos are boring. They are mainly relevant in educational purposes and I have already done that in my previous vids for example ”Breaking down no spin accuracy throwing”, ”The nine no reload combos” and ”Let’s do a half spin walk back”.

Joel, if actual no reload throwing is NOT the main purpose of the knife, but "just" regular no spin and half spin throwing: Would you recommend the 8 mm version over the others?
@joelholopainen68652 жыл бұрын
Haven’t thrown the 8 mm much. I’ll try it and tell you how it performs against 6mm. But both 6mm knives are VERY GOOD, especially the 210 g version.

@@joelholopainen6865 Wow, thanks, that´d be great! Just so you know where I am coming from: I almost exclusively throw in all kinds of distcances (within the range I am capable of of course) on "natural" targets when roaming through the woods, like dead trees and stumps which can vary in hardness up to very hard. So I like knives with very good penetration and sticking in the target very well. In that regard my 8 mm and a bit heavier Top Dogs are better than my 6 mm Arrows. Reason might be the shape of the tip though, not sure. Also I find no spin throwing a bit easier with 8 mm than with 6 mm spines.

@@wartstein8814 I tested it and it’s not bad and you can’t go wrong with 8mm. BUT 6mm is still better. It’s not so heavy and clunky and thus flies better. Contact me in messenger and I’ll show correct grip and a release method. Then it doesn’t matter if you had even a 5mm knife.

@@joelholopainen6865 Joel, my apologies for the late reply! I actually missed yours somehow till right now...?! / Man, thanks a lot for taking the time to check the 8mm No Reloads out! Good to know that you still prefer the 6mm in the way they fly, that really helps (though: Perhaps the 8mm still will stick better to the target, due to the higher weight ?!) And thanks also for your generous offer to show me the correct method! When you say "messenger" - is there such on youtube, or do you mean facebook (I actually don´t have an account there, but would create one immediately, if this is the way to contact you). Thanks again!!

@@wartstein8814 I think there is no notable difference between the penetration depth of 6 and 8 mm. Yes, facebook messenger.
