Bernard is so rare. You don't usually you see a boxer who fights as well on the inside as he does on the outside. He's very comfortable fighting either way. What a legend. What a great boxer. It's like watching a craftsman built furniture or a surgeon replacing a vertebrae. Just amazing what he does in the ring.

***** I saw the first fight with SRL vs Duran too. SRL tactically pushed the rematch immediately because he knew Duran would go gorge and blow up. To me it was a bxxxx move because as an athlete myself i want to compete against the best at my best and their best not try to put my foe at a disadvantage. A Rigo would give MW some issues he doesn't want to see. They could spar. Rigo has schooled many WW's in sparring so i wonder if when Rigo visited MW's gym if they had a private sparring session. On youtube there is a video of Roger MW working with Rigo on mitts. The public may never know until RIgo retires and writes a book and then i will have to learn how to read spanish better

I think Bernard is a professional hypnotist because every one that fights him falls asleep. When they wake up it's the 11th round and they realize they just let 9 rounds go by without forcing the action. Very similar to Mayweather. Bernard does just enough to win the rounds.

Watching this fight and many other B-Hop fights should give you major respect for what Kovalev was able to do. You can't beat B-Hop just because you have power. You need to be able to box and have the correct reactions and start/stop. Kovalev proved he's not just a puncher. He's a puncher with legit boxing skill and ring IQ. Gotta love B-Hop though. The guy will bring the best out of great fighters even at his age.

***** This was when Don King only had Cloud as the only descent fighter in his promotion. Hopkins said he'll beat Cloud and put an end to Don King's reign and he did. Couple of years ago, I heard that he's still making small matches and wagging that American flag in the corner. King got dropped big time because of this fight. This is when and why I started becoming fan of Hopkins!

I think he can befuddle kovalev but the question is whether he can do it all fight? because he has to, the russian has a different kind of power genuine one punch, cloud and pascal are powerful kovelev is in a separate class

Hopkins, great fighter when he is boxing honorably but man is he irritating to watch at times because he is also one of the dirtiest... Cant take youngin's flurries so he proceeds to clench hold his head down. Clenching is one thing but when that's the case like, how u gonna make faces acting like you are eating hits and dominating when u do that? The funny thing is that people buy this crap... Great job on the win but dang. Glad when he tried swinging after the bell in the begining youngin hit him with nice clean one in response. pretty much getting across: That Crap dont fly here (pow)
