I feel you bro. Back in 2020 my Mom told me and my lil siblings to stop listening to rap music and I did. We started doing Bible study and I started really getting close with God. I thank my mother for telling me to stop listening to rap music cause back in 2023 I was trying to get back to listening to rap music but I was only doing it to fit in my generation so I stopped. Don't get me wrong I do listen to rap music, Tupac ,nas biggie ,Em and Kendrick, but other than that I don't listen to people from this generation. I swear when you stop listening to rap in this generation and then try to go back to listening to it , it doesn't feel right anymore so I feel you on that about rap in this generation.

Used to love future, lil Uzi, etc. but once I got really in tune with God. And stopped involving myself in certain stuff. A lot of that music no longer meant anything to me. And it’s even to the point where I’ll feel guilty for listening. I deleted all of lil uzis songs off my phone earlier this year. It was hard at first to accept, but you realize it’s better for your spirit 💜
