Evolution Of Suzuki Escudo - Deep Forest // GT2 - GT7

Evolution of the legendary Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak from Gran Turismo 2 to Gran Turismo 7. One of the most iconic cars of the Gran Turismo series.
All laps made on stock setup and soft racing tires. No tuning or settings.
I recorded Gran Turismo 1,2,5,6 footage my from original PS3 Slim hardware with Elgato HD60. For Gran Turismo 3+4 I used an emulator on PC and OBS Studio. For Gran Turismo 7 the capture function of my PS5.
Wheel I used for GT3-GT6: Logitech G25
For GT7 I´m using the Fanatec CSL Elite PS4 + Clubsport Pedals V3.

並べてみると1作ごとにグラフィックも音ちゃんと進歩してきているんですね 陸橋のブロックが平らなポリゴンにレンガのテクスチャを貼っただけだとすぐわかるものから 次第にここのブロックを積んであるように見えるようになっていったり 車体の反射も単純な明暗から 次第に色味や周りの影の形も反映していくようになったり しかし一番驚いたのは 2のころから既に某xboxレースゲームとは違って 縁石に乗ったりしたときに 既に左右のサスペンションが別々に伸び縮みして 車体の左右のロールがキチン地表現されていたことです。 こう言う事も見比べてみないと気付きにくいです 動画作成者に感謝します。

No. That's the *_REAL_* speed of the car. Just turn the gearbox for a top speed bias and voila. 200 km/h is possible if *_AND ONLY IF_* the Escudo is driving on a rally track. In other words, the speedometer in GT3 shows the ACTUAL speed of the car. You must be either blind, bad at maths, or an anti for road racing with super powerful rally cars. If so, then WHY DO YOU THINK TARMAC RALLIES EXIST IN THE FIRST PLACE?

It’s called Speed Sense! It depends on some factors like the camera angle. POV, some games added this little effects to every camera, chase or hood, gran turismo isn’t a game with good sense of speed like Need for speed or even burnout when you are reaching 250+kmh and you feel like the car is going on fire!

speedometer sometimes goes down to 0kph when sliding, so i guess the game simulates the speedometer by the spin rate of the wheel... like a real car would

Gran Turismo 7 Deep Forest is rubbish in my opinion because they changed the track even worse than older series. They just making it longer straight with hairpin just 2 corners before finish line, making cars with lots of power easier to overtake in last moments. Old tracks are more suitable for corners with enough straight lines while new tracks are for top speed battle.
