I have the Meteor all gray version and I had to send it back to Zodiac to adjust it and the tech in Dallas was phenomenal. I think the service was great from Fossil. One can rest assured buying from Marc will be an exceptional experience

Thats a very attractive watch. Love the super sea wolf range. I wouldnt buy a PVD watch due to long term durability concerns. Ive seen so many with worn coatings from general daily wear. Also, is it definitey a saphire insert? Was pretty sure zodiac use mineral crystal inserts. Something to do with the colours they like to use i believe.

That's a good point, maybe it is. I kinda thought it was sapphire but very well could be. It's not listed in the specs.

Beautiful stuff. I would love to see a macro of the watch face, the meteorite surface surely deserves a closer look. A side note/idea: what about getting some loom on that Islander logo on your gloves? That would be cool :) And I wonder if you could get rid of that camera lens reflection by moving your camera closer to you and aiming it at an angle (to the center of the box, where you have your watch). Seems to be an issue addressed by you in many videos :)

Marc, as an engineer- it would be helpful if you would explain what a "meteorite dial" actually is and how they are produced. Does a claim to a "meteorite dial" actually have to be a slice of an extraterrestrial object? or can the term also include "forged carbon fiber" which I suspect many claimed meteorite dials are actually made of.

I own a Boldr watch with a meteorite dial. A majority of these dials are sourced from fragments of the Muonionalusta meteorite which was discovered in Sweden. The meteorite broke up as it entered the atmosphere and pieces were scattered across a large area. Supposedly, glacial movement spread the pieces even further apart There are videos on KZbin of meterite hunters still finding chunks within the last few years. An etching process is applied to reveal the intricate pattens.

I like it, but for some reason the black text on a gray dial really bothers me. I would have preferred white printing, with maybe just the logo on top instead of the brand and model name. Overall a great looking watch though

When I saw the color of the watch and the price I got excited and thought it was made of Titanium. So disappointed it's DLC coated stainless steel. At this price it should be Titanium! I've been looking for a Titanium watch with a meteorite dial and thought maybe this was the one. I guess I'll have to keep looking. 😞😞
