Something that really helped me is also reminding myself, "Even if you win the rat race, you are still a rat". Leveling up at work isn't everyones life goal.

Zoe you are only 25 and you are still very young. Life is about finding yourself and stay true to yourself. I’m in my early 30s and just started a career in consulting. Don’t worry, you are doing great!

Something that I'm really hard on myself about is my ability to perform at my current job (that I don't like) and my ability to be accepted by others. However, I'm finally learning that I can be myself authentically, and that I am capable of finding a job that aligns with my values and people that love me for who I am.

I’m sorry your management dropped you. I think in the end it sounds like it was not to be and for the best. You’re one of my favourite KZbinrs. Your videos have been so comforting to me over the past year and a half ❤️. I’m also super happy for you that you have a boyfriend!

loved this vid Zoe! honestly your sit down / chatty vids are my fave bc they're always so real and on point. You've been my fave youtuber since I found your video on quitting big 4 (which is also funny, bc i wasn't working in consulting / in big 4 lol). Anyways, your transparency and relatability will take you so far on youtube. Your vids have helped me a lot with being more open about my own work anxiety, vulnerability and money management. everything happens for a reason 💓

Zoe! Thank you for making yet another impactful video. I see so much of myself in you and I want to let you know how grateful I am to have a content creator to relate to. I work a full-time job in environmental consulting and just like you, I had a hard time finding comfort in what you may call a “typical creator”. Congratulations on reconnecting with your “why” and for creating a space where people like me feel seen and welcomed! Love you. 💓

Let me say this like a big brother to little sister here(clears throat), just because you haven't grown in your career as a consultant does not mean you are not on the way there(I'm 24 and I didn't graduate with my class year because I needed to figure things out). You are growing your love for yourself and how to make you own life paradise. Yeah your freinds may have ranked up but they may have not touch based with what their hearts truly desire. Your dog loves you and you love her and you will know what is best for her as if she was your true lover❤(like a marriage). Now you really like this guy I can see that so I'll be respectful but at the same time don't convince yourself he's the one because those feelings can be so high that time moves fast and something can always happen. You're doing right by giving yourself alone time, however you can so you can listen to your heart. Your business should be your passion, and creativity is what will grow your channel🌟. This is how success is achieved, it won't stop being hard but you'll be stronger facing challenges more effectively. I promise you that💫.

This is one of your best videos Zoe!! So great and relatable that I had tears and even come back to watch it again 🧡 It was very brave of you talk about how you have been feeling about Maggie, love to see that because women especially are bashed for complaining about difficult children which is a very human thing to do. Also, I have had issues with people pleasing, comparing myself to other people and just general anxiety. One thing that calms me down is what my therapist says - will it matter 5 years from now? Hope that helps you... Much love ❤🧡🌼✨

Totally felt you on the puppy thing. Idk if puppy postpartum is a real thing but I feel like I had it once 😅 I made the mistake of getting TWO difficult breed puppies at the same time. So many warned me not to do it. To only get one as a starter, but nooo i didn't listen. It was so tough. 10/10 do not recommend lol BUT two years in, they calm down and they're great. I've had them for four years now and I love these guys. 😃

Hi Zoe, as I watch this video I honestly can’t believe how similar we are. I’m also 25 and have had similar experiences and thought processes in my career. I just did a personality test yesterday, called the big five personality test which identified that I have high neuroticism and low conscientiousness which explains why I encounter the kind of thoughts/problems I do. I think it’d help you!!

I can relate to being overwhelmed with having a young dog. My dog is a German shepherd/poodle mix, he’s a rescue, and he’s a reactive dog (barks and lunges on the leashes when sees strangers and other dogs). He also has a lot of energy. I do love him a lot though, but yeah it’s a lot of training haha

May I ask why you got Maggie spayed already? ☺️
@ZoePritchard3 жыл бұрын
it was in her contract with the breeder to have her spayed within one year. She’s 11 months no so it was time
@KristianaCembre3 жыл бұрын
What do you mean already? Maybe it’s just an Australian thing, but we get our dogs spayed around 4-6 months. If anything, 11 months is late to get your dog spayed, dogs can get pregnant within 6-12 months of age.
@Isabella-de7kv3 жыл бұрын
Ah okay! Well, in Germany it is forbidden to get your dog spayed without any medical reason 🙈 and they tell you that if you have to do it, you should do it as late as possible as the growing up process is basically stopped once you get a dog spayed. But cultures/countries are different I guess. ☺️ it’s just what i know from my own dog
@KristianaCembre3 жыл бұрын
@@Isabella-de7kv the growing up process doesn’t stop after being spayed, apparently Germany and Scandinavia are pretty much the only countries who believe this - the rest of the world neuters their dogs, it’s part of responsible dog ownership. A neutered dog also lives longer.
@Isabella-de7kv3 жыл бұрын
@@KristianaCembre it's okay to have different opinions on this! You can find loads of research about this online, we don't just "believe" this. I know it's a very sensitive topic and everyone needs to make their own decision about this, but i don't know why I would get my do spayed or neutered if they are completely healthy. I personally have total control over my dog getting pregnant/getting another dog pregnant and I personally wouldn't do it due to the reasons mentioned in research. HOWEVER I do understand that other people with other dogs might have a different pros and cons list so that's completely fine.

Do you regret getting a dog at all? Even just a little bit? It really is a lot more than what we see on social media with everyone only posting their best dog moments. Also even though your career is super important to you, just remember it literally is an exchange of your skills and time for money.

How much of your expectations come from modern feminism ? Feminism says women need to be educated, have an awesome career, are changing the world and are generally just so full of power. Obviously many girl feel bad if they can’t keep up with all this.
@KristianaCembre3 жыл бұрын
That’s not feminism at all, feminism is just about equality - it has nothing to do with what your life is “supposed” to be. Feminism just says if you want to do those things you should be able to, that your gender shouldn’t be a hurdle to achieving what you want your life to be.
