Our go fest started off really great and ended pretty bad. We found a small community of players meeting up at a park we’ve never been to.. and we walked around all day and came back to the car with a slashed tire and 2 shattered windows. Luckily, my switch was in my backpack and there were no valuables in the car.. but it was a really awful way to end night 1.

This is the vid that's given me the most fomo since basically quitting the game.. . Like it's hilarious to see you chase down tyrunt but that's really not me: I wanna go out for a casual walk be able to stop and enjoy the scenery of where I am and still get a nice little collection like you got here; but the game just feels like it's geared itself to play as hard as you can, don't stop moving at all and that's not motivating for me- let me be casual, let me sit outside and have convos with my mates while I casually play in the background and still might see some good stuff

I ended up getting 23 shinies on Saturday, and 10 shinies on Sunday. I managed to pull every brand new shiny except for one of the Pikachu crowns, and ended up with 3 shiny Goomy. Overall an amazing event.

When you did that challenge to do a comm day with only go plus, I was thinking of another potential challenge while I played fest. What if the collection challenge could only be completed with shinies. It could be amongst friends to check after. Hard mode could be no catching devices, so you have to manually search for shinies and can only catch collection mons if it sparkles.

Hi Zoe! I was at london go fest and got 92 shinys! But now at global i got a total of 55 shinys and 5 hundos. And i must say that this global go fest this year was amazing since i got my first (Shundos) and ye Shundos not shundo. I got a shundo miltank in the wild and then a few hours later at the end of the event i caught a wild shundo scyther! the cool thing was that my oe of my cousins also got the shundo scyther so it was a "Twin shundo!!!" it was his first one too! Loved this years go fests and i'll hopefully be using he miltank in ultra league soon!

I hating this event! I had the absolute worst shiny luck. I got a total of 20 and I played pretty much nonstop both days in a very well populated area with lots of stops. That’s just barely over 1 per hour. Ridiculous. Everyone I was with got around 30 but not me. Plus, several were just repeats - 4 of pink crown pikachu, so I really only got a few that I was actually excited about. I hated this one and am still bitter. 😡
