I like how the Upper Moons' themes each reflects their traits and personalities Gyutaro's theme = Has a bit of a tragic vibe to it, reflecting Gyutaro's past Gyokko's theme = Has this rather quiet yet cruel vibe, reflecting his psychotic passion for his "art" Hantengu's theme(Or rather, Zohakuten's) = Has this twisted heroic vibe, reflecting to Zohakuten believing that he's saving the "weak one" Akaza's theme = Has an aggressive vibe, reflecting his extroverted personality and his way of fighting Doma's theme = Has this weird, mysterious and horror vibe, reflecting his rather demonic methods of killing and his tendency of faking his emotions Kokushibo = Has this noble, majestic yet menacing vibe, reflecting his position as the strongest Upper Moon(technically the strongest demon Muzan has got), his respect to the hierarchy of the Upper Moons and his strict and demanding-like demeanor

I just realize the reason Hantengu was killed off in the swordsmith village arc is because he would be so broken in infinity castle arc. Just think about it you'll have to fight this strong ass demon in a maze that can be move by Nakime while chasing that tiny ass demon in a moving maze. Nakime would just teleport Hantengu to a safe place every time he gets into a corner or almost getting killed, I mean how broken is that if only these demons just cooperate to each other, they would have won lmaoo

He was was so focused on destroying the village and making Haganezuka lose focus, while doing a battle of wit with Tokito. That wouldve been a bad idea.. Mitsuri is fighting zokuhaten and if hantengu is inside him it wouldve made it easier to behead him. Remember, mitsuri has the reach and the speed to behead zokuhaten, so slicing his body to find hantengu would be easy. Plus tanjiro and the other 2 are there.

In this whole time, Zohakuten would casually kept summoning like another 2 waves of attack continously already that would made Mitsuri stuck in the situation in which she had to spending time to deal with the demon's attack again, again and again. BUT, he knew he was unkillable so he didn't care that she was approaching him, and he also had the close-range techniques like soundwave or lightning which could also be released from his body, so he choose to do that. --------------------------------- if Zohakuten was the real body, that would be a different situation in the fighting strategy from the demon's point of view. In that case, even tho the demon can release the sonic scream and lightning from his body, he mostly doesn't take that risk. He would be much more precautious, and does summon his attack more often and even can keep doing that from the early of the fight. He would take advantage of his massive long and big range attack and huge number in attack in each of his summoning wave to keep the opponent far away
