Very nice first look and first flights. Was had to tell difference between manual and auto/cruise as video for both seemed smooth. Lots of great info. (both in video and the description) In past ZOHD has made available servos, esc and motor available as spare parts, but that inventory dried up with logistics challenges of past couple years.

Good tip on the PNP vs Kit tail server gear issue. It would make me very sad to find out after the fact as I doubt I'd have servos that worked. A weird quirk of design. And what an awesome flying spot!

I noticed the stall on my maiden too. It recovers very quickly but it stalls at a higher speed than I’d expect. I flew it on cg with a 4s 3600 Lipo. You can’t glide in - power has to be kept on the whole time. I also noticed that it wants to pitch up as you add power. It wasn’t the perfect maiden, but with some time and tuning I’m sure it’ll be fine. Launch was zero drama with no fc.

Hi Andrew! How do you get the osd font on DJI like that. Right now I have MSP port selected to get DJI osd working but I get all the question marks for the small font stuff. I have DJI goggles 2 and O3 if that is the difference?

You can increase the rudder % in the V-Tail mix but V-Tails have reduced rudder authority, so you need to fly more bank and yank I guess. Are you using a flight control board?

Hi Andrew I’m having some issues with my SB405Mini…I’m on analog and at launch (38amp) my OSD completely disappears. I noticed in your video you only pulled 7amps and it’s a digital system which shouldn’t change anything I believe. I’m almost leaning towards the FC not handling the amps as I have been trying other bits from other models with no luck. I normally use Matek and this power setup is from on another air frame using the Matek FC without issues.

Vv is unfiltered so at that high throttle there is probably too much interference getting in to the FPV circuit. I would add an LC filter to the VTx power line.

If you are using INAV you can have OSD with a few different systems, I’ve got it on DJI O3 and Caddx vistas. There are options for analog and Avatar as well.
