ZOLA 2023 Update: Better or Worse? PLUS comparison and Update on The Knot and Weddingwire

Finally a 2023 Update to my original Zola video, Zola has definitely been downgraded in my opinion, I won't be paying for any leads from them after some of my experience. Weddingwire hasn't changed much and the Knot has had some minor updates to make it a little worse to determine who's paying and how much, but thats been an issue for a few years now.
Of the three, Zola would still be my top choice, but it's not a good fit for me anymore.

We just signed up for Zola. We are almost done with are contract with Wedding pros. Hopefully we get some leads cause it’s a lot more affordable then the $100 a month we are paying for wedding pros.

You remind me of a young version of the actor James Franco (2001 Spiderman movie for reference). I have also been using ZOLA for the last 9 months or so. I have not paid for any credits yet, BUT I did book a FREE lead client from ZOLA and it was a $1,500 booking which is not bad at all. I do like how you can buy 40 credits for $34.00 ($6.00 discount ). About $8.50 per lead is not bad as long as you book at least 1 in 8 or so leads. I might spend the $34 and give another 4 leads a try. Most of my events come via another DJ service, or my own word of mouth from past clients, and maybe 1 a year comes from a wedding planner. However, about 15% of the events I book do come from either Google, or a lead service like The Bash or I guess now ZOLA. Wedding Wire and the Knot are WAY OVER PRICED. I would consider Wedding Wire again at maybe $299 per year. The last time they gave me a quote, they wanted $4,585 for 1 year LOL. I would have to book at least 23 weddings a year directly from Wedding Wire for that to be worth it at $200 per lead which $200 per wedding booked is still on the high side of cost IMO. Wedding Wire yields realistically 1 wedding booking per year. If you book 2 or more consider yourself lucky. I was a paid advertiser back in the day 2010 - 2015, and the last year I was with them was a total waste of money.
