I bought this watch recently and I absolutely love it. Never run out of power even on days I’m flying and don’t have a chance to top it off. I got it with the black ocean band and I don’t regret it but I wanted something to dress it up a little so I looked at the black Milanese titanium band but was on the fence. While 199 isn’t huge in today’s economy it’s still significant. You helped me make my choice to get it, so thanks. It looks just the right amount of nice for an evening out that’s dressy but not formal if you get what I’m saying. My only complaint is the 6 weeks to get it shipped.

Always liked the look of the metal band decided to try it back in a day but once tried it quickly sent it back. It digs into the wrist and pulls on hair time to time. Was really uncomfortable for me

I was tempted to get this to replace my "EOL" SSS4, but there were two things that pushed me towards a refurbished SSS9. I work with my hands in a lot of confined spaces and since there's really no way to tell how well that finish will hold up, I'm fairly certain it would look tattered within a week. Second, its still the second generation of the AWU with last year's chipset. I figured if the most attractive option still has last year's chip I may as well just stick with a known quantity of stainless steel and sapphire crystal. Saved myself $200 in comparison.

The black looks good! but I think the ultra 1 in titanium has a more eye catching iconic appearance- and if you can find a refurbished ultra OG, it’s a tonne cheaper for 95% of what you get with the ultra 2

As a fellow guy with sufficient hair on my wrist and lower arm, thank you for commenting on the comfort of the band. I purchased the AW10 in black titanium and ordered the Slate Link Bracelet in order to avoid the band from ripping out any hair while looking great with the watch. I ordered late so I still have a few weeks before they arrive and I am crossing my fingers on the band being hair friendly!

Definitely think the off angle viewing improvement is more noticeable with the earlier series of Apple Watch, rather than the more recent models, and I think this is what Apple are referring to with the 40 percent better viewing angle they mention. I couldn't really notice any difference between the Series 10 and the Ultra 2 side by side views. Lovely loop the titanium. I looked at it in the natural colour and it looked beautiful, and I preferred it over the black.

The Digital Crown on the Ultra 2 is way too sensitive. It keeps bringing up Smart Stack whenever I have a long sleeve on. The first AWU had a more stiff crown and this never was an issue.

Still have my Watch Series 2👀. This looks fantastic but being a processor behind from I guy left behind years ago raised my eyebrow. Having a sensor not used with no future is not ideal. I like the understated look. Seeing people with the bright orange band was like wearing a bull-horn for the natural titanium. Having reached the age of needing readers; this has me not as interested but for battery longevity the bigger battery for less cycle counts is what interests me. Not a hiker but I love the idea of not getting lost when used properly. Great review as always. 14:44

I wanted this new black titanium Milanese loop for my new Slate Series 10 Titanium but my local Apple Store was sold out of that so I ended up just getting the Slate Stainless Steel Milanese Loop with my new Series 10. The lugs match pretty much spot on which is nice despite the differences in materials between the watch and strap!

I'm confused about the AirPods settings on watchOS 11. Usually, when I'm walking, I wear my AirPods and set the mode to Adaptive instead of Noise Cancellation. I don’t like Transparency mode, so I always use Adaptive mode. Now, I can't find that setting. Before, if I'm not mistaken, it was in the upper right when playing music, but now it's gone. I'm still rocking the Ultra 1. I'm holding out for the Ultra 3 and I can't wait. I still prefer the natural titanium design. The black looks nice but it will quickly look bad as soon as the black finish gets scratched. Yes it is tough but it is not invincible and I actually use my watch for outdoor activities such as mountain biking, hiking etc. I am careful with it but accidents do happen.

I waited two years for a black  Watch Ultra. It was worth it, it's exactly what I wanted! For me, the black Ultra 2 looks much better than the silver one. The display edge alone is hardly noticeable. The Titan Milanese Band is in combination with the Ultra 2, just brilliant. I've been wearing the black Ultra 2 every day since 20.09.24, and wouldn't want to exchange it for another watch!
