Zoltan, I have two phd’s and our average phd amount in the office is 1.5. You are our favorite comedian. And we didn’t even chat that much before I made them accidentally discover you. I was listening to your parakeet story in the White Lies special and couldn’t contain myself. The others wondered what was so funny and I showed them. Since then you’re always in our office. “That’s not how the cow eats the corn” is in our daily language. We love Emma and Mike, too! If you see a table looking like the United Nations at one of your shows, that’s us.

Oh wow, I used to feel like that when they first started moving the speed up from 55 mph. Now I kind of miss it. Sometimes the drivers here are too fast and half of them probably don't even have driver's licenses (you'd be surprised).

@@CarmitaSmilesofSYWM it is scary! If I could run for local office my platform would be to bring back driver's education in high schools. I took it my sophomore year in 1985, but they stopped offering it a few years later. Not only would I want to bring it back, I'd make it mandatory for all high school students to take it before they graduate, regardless of citizenship status. If these young'ns are going to be driving anyway, I want them to be trained.

I have a PhD in Texas Pride and I just want to say that Buc-ee's is our gift to the world, but I can see how the food might be a little rough for someone who's not used to it. Most native Texans build up our stomach enzymes (it's actually just a single enzyme shaped like a big star) by eating deep fried everything at the State Fair and street tacos from questionable food trucks where you can only order in Spanish. Also, the food we consume is actually heavily diluted inside our stomachs by the copious amount of sweet tea and Dr. Pepper we consume. The Tea and Dr. Pepper activate the Lone Star enzyme which attaches a microscopic pump jack to the food molecules and starts pumping the oil out of them to fuel our bodies. The only downside to this is that sometimes it can produce a chemical that triggers an involuntary reaction in our brain that leads to an uncontrolled outburst of shouting, "YEEEHAW", from time to time.

I have a Buccees story. So, I was stationed in Georgia. flew back to San Antonio for the holidays for a few weeks of leave. Time to go back, and it just happened to be when Southwest had that huge system outage. All flights cancelled. Nothing available on other airlines. So I’m like, ok gotta rent a car and drive 22 hours back there. And my car is parked at the Charlotte, NC airport, so I have to drive ALL the way past my destination in Georgia, then get my car, and then drive back another couple of hours. I drove back in the worst possible weather. Storm must have followed me the whole way. Drove straight through too, and by the time I get my car and start going back I’m pretty delirious. Feeling hungry too. Then through the rain, what do I see glowing in the night? Buccees. Buccees? I passed the last Buccees somewhere past Houston. What the hell? Did I get turned around and now I’m back in Texas? I thought I was losing my mind. So I pull in to see if it’s real. And yeah, everything. The same chat the bbq guys do. The endless rows of beef jerky. And the brisket sandwich! Ok, but where am I? I ask the manager, and he says “Oh this is South Carolina! We just opened!” Ok, so my phone wasn’t lying. Ok, Buccees. So you decide to open out of state. That’s fine. Texas greatness should be shared, but there are like four states you skipped over to get here. Would have been nice to have one in each state for me to reload on the brisket sandwich.
