Zomato CEO Trolled For Asking People To PAY Rs 20 Lakh For A Job, Netizens Call It 'Discriminatory'

The CEO of the food delivery company received massive backlash after advertising for a chief of staff vacancy. In a strange arrangement as per the post the successful candidate will not be paid a salary for the first year, but will instead have to donate ₹20 lakh for the privilege of working for him. He also clarified that the chosen candidate would be paid the usual salary from the second year onward. This salary would exceed ₹50 LPA, he promised.

I won't blame the founder as he is on cloud nine thinking that he has created a fortune 500 company when the actual operation is nothing more than ordinary delivery. The AI is doing the rest of the job. One thing to be praised is the way the company scaled to its present level. This isn't a long term idea as someone with more better logistics and ability can give z a run for money. Make hay when the sun shines. The company lacks in strong domain knowledge that is hard to replicate. Fun time for today's kids.
