Hey just a quick apology for the beginning audio on this one, I have no idea what happened in the recording but I've tried to salvage it as best I could as I just havent got time to re-record it and wanted to get my review out there, because I really enjoyed this game, as always, its Zombicide, but I feel people need to give the campaign expansions a chance, and hopefully this review will convince you to do just that.

Great review, great video! We received our boxes from KS over the weekend and while I love each and every game of Z-cide I play, my son's interest is already starting to wane. I'm going to pop the lid off of Fort Hendrix and play the first mission to see if he gets interested once again with the new mechanics and zombie soldiers (aka deadeye walkers).

Cheers mate, hope you enjoy the new mechanics as much as I have, I have waned on the zombicide formula in its base game form, its why this will be my last zombicide, I didn't go in for the wild west one as I was already feeling the strain, but I'm happy now with my necromancer in black plague, the horde in green horde and the clock in this one.

Hiya, I only just seen your video. I ordered the 2nd edition which should come this week. I have never placed a zombicde game before. Do you think this is a good option to go for or should I have gone for a different edition? I had a brief look and saw this one is a bit easier to set up maybe and obviously more modern setting. Thank you

If you've never played zombicide before it's a great place to start, even with just the core box. Set up time is pretty much the same as the others, all that matters with these is which theme you prefer, modern or fantasy, soon as you find the one which catters for you, it's all you need.

Any chance you see, to incorporate the key mechanics from the expansions into the core game missions without much of a hassle?

Yeah the time mechanic is easy to transition in and should be the new mechanic people use, the cards could potentially be specific I havent read them all, but you'd struggle with the weapons as there aren't enough of them for base game.

when zatu games eventually restocks the game, ill definitely be getting washington zd and the presidents pack. the idea of donald trump and barrack obama teaming up against zombie hordes is quite funny.

cheers, yeah the kickstarter is such good value when compared to the one shops get, I couldn't ever just buy this from shops anymore, the value isn't worth it, especially as the expansions are almost a necessity to have a better experience.

Ive not long picked up zombicide & started playing (black plague w Wolfsburg). Picked both games up for less than half price. As much as I like Black Plague Im happy to wait for this 2nd edition to hit the bargain bin before playing XD Good video tho :)

Understandable mate, I'm stopping with the games now as I've got all the ones I want, Black Plague for me is the panicle of the series so if your not a fan of that one or it doesn't hit the table much, in all honesty I just wouldn't bother getting another and save your money mate, as Zombicides at retail are no where near worth the money.

Cheers, it's coz the audio was ruined mate, had to do a lot of editing to get it to this stage, think the cable on my blue yeti was loose, I do use a pop filter, if you watch some of my other recent videos you will hear my regular audio lol.
