The fact the zombie name got slapped onto such a completely different drink and the fact that you can now get an original zombie at a decent amount of bars really puts into perspective what a great contribution Beachbum Berry made.

On Dons Mix: I recall in SIPPIN' SAFARI he says 2 parts Grapefruit Juice to 1 part Cinnamon Syrup. Seen it written three ways not sure which is correct 2 parts Cinnamon to 1 part Grapefruit 1 part Cinnamon to 1 part Grapefruit 1 part cinnamon to 1 part grapefruit

Not sure if that is true I had a Zombie in a Michigan habachi grill/bar and it hit very hard meaning it had to have had 151 of some kind in it. The only way I've come close to its taste and kick is using 151 Hamilton with a jam and Peur rum Along with the additives. So somone was able to come very very close way before 2006. This was around 1992
