Odious John. I do not typically say a thing criticizing women who get abused by their male partners, bc they are victims- bad judgment doesn't mean you deserve to be abused by someone u love, a person so awful to you that it's a crime. The cycle of abuse is a terrible place to be, bc often those men have traumatic childhoods that makes their victims feel terrible at the thought of abandoning them, its very difficult to leave someone you love, especially if you were raised in a violent, dysfunctional family. However- THIS case is Not that. THIS woman was a willfully blind fool who endangered her children & herself with atrociously bad decisions... what an absolute idiot you have to be to believe what she did. .. she married him after knowing him for 10 wks-even tho he's supposedly a surgeon (if any surgeon married ANYONE after knowing them for 10 wks they DAMN sure would have a Prenup!🙄) yet had filthy fingernails, who owned one set of scrubs? Who goes to work for a couple hours then comes back home to play Call of Duty all day?🤣 (what a fuckin🤡) And is ALWAYS broke? Who refused to leave Your home the night of your 1st date? Who is hated by all🐕🐩🐕‍🦺 and your adult children? Shows signs& symptoms of💊💉addiction? This guy was an absolute 🪛🔨🔧 tho I did appreciate the🧟🧟‍♂️ comparison... that you g woman was Nothing like her ridiculous mother- she was a bad ass! 🤘Good 4 her!🗡🩸🩸😄... wish I could buy her a 🥳🥂🍾😈 Thanks to her, that POS is where he belongs...💀 ⚰️ 🪦 👹 🔥🔥🔥 LOL 😄

I was a little confused when the daughter deleted him from existence. I watched the documentary and she mentioned he caught her coming out from work at the pet grooming place she was employed. Also because of the stabbing he went into a coma and (I forgot her name) had the life support end. Which for me was most satisfying. I say this because this John is a replica of who I call shitshow. Same scenario. Same excuses. Probably the same mental issues. I still get angry at myself for allowing him to be in my life one year and half too long. I knew deep down inside it was probably one of the biggest mistakes I made in my life. Every day I forgive myself a little bit more. I really appreciate your analysis on various topics. Personally based on sad experience I think someone should be allowed obtain a no contact order just by asking. Telling someone to stay away when they scare or bother you should be one’s right. No one has a RIGHT to contact with you if you don’t want it.
@rickbrenner6079

I wholeheartedly agree. It shouldn’t be based on whether the guy (or gal) previously threatened you physically or previously attacked you physically, it should be based on one’s fear of that individual. A lot of restraining orders never happen in situations where they should’ve happened because the individual “never harmed before” (or never verbally threatened to harm before), and the person who requested that restraining order ended up getting physically hurt or killed by that individual.

Great video Dr Grande. I saw this on a true crime show on TV. I think all of us can learn from this creep but most of us that are a little older and looking for a nice stable guy to settle down with but unfortunately we get duped. Gosh I feel so bad for the mother because she was just looking for love and she found a liar. Our hearts want to believe these guys are genuine but her daughters saw what she couldn’t see. A slime ball con man who preys on older women who have established their careers , raised their children mostly on their own and just want the rest of their lives to spend it with a professional person who is as equally or more successful and they find this dirty John! This is an extremely cautionary tale because this guy had a bag full of knives and sought out the daughter to actually kill her! And if he was successful in his murder attempt against her daughter she would never have been able to get over it. Big major shout out to her daughter that was thinking clearly and her dog that only alerted her to very dangerous people and wouldn’t stop barking until he wasn’t a threat anymore. I’m in my 50’s and I meet all kinds of freaks on Facebook. It’s really scary. Trust your gut instinct and if they lie, if they talk poorly about their ex, if they are home during the day, if they have no friends or family, if they don’t pay for dinners or even worse if they make up a story as to why you should pay for dinner or if they borrow a significant amount of money from you and never even mention paying you back! These are all warning signs and should alert you the fact that they are not genuine and they can also be potential scammers. Guard yourselves, dating is not how it used to be 30 years ago. If they disrespect you once let them go and don’t let them know where you live or work or even if you have children not until you are certain they are legit .

Great as always! Could you possibly cover the case of Hailey Dunn from Colorado City, TX? You might find it pretty intriguing.

I enjoy your videos so much. Your humour is so well done. I know Im not the only one who says this stuff bcz of the "laughs". Terrible topics and wisdom together. Sometimes, I almost wonder abt myself for laughing. I then recall, you are "entertainment" and NOT just a Doctor of Psychology. If I saw you in person, Id make sure to say thank you! 😁

I don't know anything about zombies... I think the zombie thing is weird and I hate anything sci-fi. but I think it's great she was able to defend herself and remove this guy, something cops didn't seem to be able to do!

The insight about therapist's people pleasing advice being unsound reminded me of Alcoholics Anonymous's emphasis to heavy drinkers that they will most likely never regain control over alcohol.

The only time he told the truth was in saying that he was good-looking, and I’m sure that’s how he was able to trap his victims. Good-looking people get such an easy ride in life. What a piece of filth he was. Well done Terra! I hope her dog was unhurt and that she is not traumatized by the attack.

It was his manipulation of her feelings, ..it may have been looks that attracted her in the first place..but he was able to become exactly what she, or anyone else in his initial * grasp* wanted.

@@Sleepparalysisdemon2 My comment is about all his victims and then you’re reply I’d about ‘her’, so it doesn’t make sense. It goes without saying that he manipulated them but anyone can manipulate anybody they are in close contact with if they want to - it was his looks that allowed him to be in that position.

Yay, I'm early, Dr G could you please do the Dhar Mann protests cause _what happens in the dark _*_always_*_ comes to light_ He's already had a felony conviction (expunged) for fraud. But worst is him not acknowledging and or compensating the very people who have bought him so much fame and an opulent fortune

I watched Jarvis talk about this last night and I do think Dr. Grande did a video on Dhar Mann well over a year ago (but maybe I am mistaken). I would be interested in knowing why it does seem like, even when given another chance, Dhar learned nothing and still seems to feel entitled to anything he wants, even at the expense of others. I would argue that the only thing keeping Dhar's videos from entering the territory of "completely unwatchable" is the actors he has been able to keep. Many of them have talent that far surpasses the writing of the videos, and I think the way he seems to pigeonhole each one into a stereotype probably isn't doing their acting skills any justice. I do get the impression that they want to stay at Dhar Mann studios and I hope this resolves quickly in their favor.

@@Throatzillaaa I adore Jarvis he generally has really good takes - if he was a cat I’d definitely adopt him lol. I completely agree with what you’ve said and I also have a memory of Dr G having done an episode in Dhar too which was why I’d like to see his take on this. Where you said “the only thing stopping Dhar’s videos from being completely unwatchable is the actors…” is so on point, they’re the only reason a lot of people don’t dog pile on his comments sections too, none of us want the actors thinking they’re the problem - but imagine all the torment they _do_ face only to be paid so little they don’t even make rent I like you, also get the feeling that all the actors would stay and show Dhar Mann Studios a loyalty they frankly don’t deserve (imo) Maybe they should go over to one of the life lesson channels that doesn’t take itself seriously like Sameer Bhavnani or something, that would really step up the Dhar Wars Also this is maybe my snide nasty side coming out but what’s really grinding my gears about it this morning is remembering how oversaturated his videos are with unnecessary luxury goods, the cars the designer clothes and bags or whatever - I didn’t know what a Michael Kors was before watching his videos and I’m sure there’s other brands I’ve since forgotten. Like imagine not being paid a living wage and then having to see the conglomerate of Dhar cars at work. Those actors are far better people than I - who is admittedly quite petty at times lol
