Zombie Play-a-long Level 1 at 90% speed (Free Beginner Guitar Program)

This is the first strumming song of my 8 week beginner guitar curriculum. The reason why I start with this song is because the chords are all 2-finger chords: Em, CMaj7, and G6. In fact, the very last chord is a simple 1-finger chord: G6/F# (I call this the "Zombie" chord). When I co-taught a beginner high school guitar class, I taught my students to use fingers 1 and 2 because those are the strongest and I found that students had the most success. On the 2nd day (the first day was just talking about the syllabus), every student was able to strum along to this song! It was very motivational because they were able to learn a song on the VERY first day they touched a guitar.
