Same as everyone else, childhood memories. Stayed up all night playing, seeing how far I could get. Going to friends' houses to see how far they can get, taking my Sega with. Never could beat it, mostly because we were fighting over the controller or someone turned it off too soon.

The thing that messes people up is first of all, conserve your ammo like crazy on the earlier levels. Second thing is to hit the head, not the body. Those worms don't take damage from the body, so you end up wasting massive amounts of ammo on their bodies.

You've probably done a bit of experimenting in the game since posting this, but there are certain weapons that work better against certain enemies that the player here sort of just discards. Popsicles are one of two weapons that work well against Blobs (the other being fire extinguishers, but those make you stand in one place), silverware against Werewolves, plates actually work a little better against Mummies (two plates vs. five water gun shots), pop cans get rid of Killer Dolls pretty handily (though they sometimes turn into flames), pop cans also work great against the UFOs (and you usually get a bonus taking them down in this way), and Giant Ants are vulnerable to... the Martian Bubble Gun, surprisingly.

+Legion Beast Plates work pretty well against Snakeoids if you run out of Monster Potions or Bazookas.

theres a trick to the snakeoids, they start out w/ 6 health and each time they attack you they gain/regain 1 health. If you can attack the snakeoids w/ bazooka bullets w/out getting harmed, they should die very quickly.

He's a mad scientist for a reason. If the game gets, like, a H.D reboot, they should add new enemies such as Haunted Suits of Armour (Loosely based on Scooby Doo's Black Knight Ghost), Intergalactic Bounty Hunters (Based on Predator from Predator/Aliens Versus Predator and the Stalker/Shadow Stalker from Warframe), Infected Humans (Similar to Halo's Flood) and for the Bosses; Cerberus, a monster that's based on Killing Floor 2's King Flesh Pound and a guest appearance of Killing Floor 2's very own Patriarch as a tough Boss. Be prepared for a tough fight because Patriarch says; _I'm back and I've got some new tricks. _*_HHHOOOAAARRR!!!_*

Matthew Benoit I cant play the SNES version at all. You have to manually toggle the zombie radar, and it blocks a quarter of the screen. Same with inventory. Sprites are stretched that version feels both clostraphobic and cramped for these reasons. Playing it on genesis is AHHH FRESH AIR I CAN BREATHE. Other than that (HUGE) difference, the graphics and music are the same. Snes music has lyrics which also gets on my nerves, it’s better without.

+Yes Imsure ok after doing some checking and watching a video they actually squished the play field on genesis to accommodate the black status bar on right (instead of cropping) but this left the playfield with an incorrect aspect ratio vs. what the developers originally intended, The game was developed on SNES first and later ported to Genesis, also I didn't know Genesis version apparently lacks the flame thrower weapon (not a huge deal), The comparison video makes some fair points but ultimately chooses the SNES version for its superior music & larger color pallete, You can find the video by searching this: game vs game episode 4 zombies
