Hi Damien, I have a leaf motor & inverter attached to a zombieverter. the motor is sitting unloaded on the bench. I had some difficulty getting it running on V2.0.5, but managed to get things running on V1.11. I think much of my difficulties were because I am currently running the motor with a bridge rectifier from AC mains and no shunt This week I managed to getting it running with V2.0.5, and subsequently got it running with V2.15, I was surprised to find I even get motor instant stop from eddy current braking. I have the motor params set to 1000 RPM max. I have noticed that I get a lot of "hunting", ie I set the pot to run at about 700 RPM it runs up, then starts cycling power for 1 sec or so then a brief zero power, then power on again, a noticable rmm, rmm, rmm a bit like SU carbs with empty dash pots. I did not get this hunting with V1.11.

1000? Wow! I would have guessed 150-200. Your website needs a list of success stories and pictures, to separate the wheat from the chaff and let people know this isn't some random project some guy's selling.

I've been watching this develop for a long time, now the gearbox is working it's getting very interesting. I still want to drop an entire hybrid set up from a GS450h in my project car, would it be a reasonable assumption (given what I've seen of the development) that not locking the first motor with a weld would cause some operation problems with how the software is set up? I read most of the things on the forum, but given nobody is using it in this application, it's a little abstract trying to understand what I would need to add in to make it work from a zombieverter perspective.

Lots to learn on. Open inverter forum... So far done 20k kilometers on the zombieverter no issue

Have you done anything with the GA8HP75HZ from the 330e, 530e and other bimmer hybrids?
