Auntie, If you released a ZONGO cookbook, I would buy it....all these Zongo recipes need to be preserved.....and also, ENAM ASE a.k.a "the meat under" is called "Fond" in culinary school....and if you want to be really technical, you can say "Caramelized Fond".....some ppl also call it "Fawn" but the dictionary way is "fond"...You can even say "Caramelized Residue" kraa......but Auntie...on a serious note, a ZONGO cookbook will all these recipes would be amazing......This style of cooking is an art form that has to be preserved.

Awww!! I knew someone would come through for me and it’s none other than my Ghana Mafia….. thanks so much, I never knew any of that, the meat under would be my best guess. Didn’t think of a cookbook but now that you’ve mentioned I will definitely start considering, thanks so much for your support as always.🙏🏾

This looks so very delicious! I will definitely try! I got tricked into eating goat meat as a child and I really could not tell the difference. If cooked correctly, it tastes very similar to beef!
@bezalea2 жыл бұрын
Yes they do have similar taste however when the skin of the goat is burnt it does give it a different taste and aroma. Thanks a lot for sharing your experience and for watching 🙏🏾

Very advanced . Please do they have cardamom in Ghana? Thanks
@bezalea2 жыл бұрын
Hi Vida, I really don’t think so, when I was in Ghana a couple of months ago I didn’t find any cardamon. It may be they call it something else so if you know how it looks then you can look for it by sight. Thanks Vida for watching and supporting always 🙏🏾❤️

There is Cardamom. Some of the women know it as such and others don't. So you could look and point it out if you know how it looks like as @bezalea suggested.
