More Capybara babies 😍 You've had a baby boom with those over the past few years. Absolutely adorable. So exciting to see what you are up to. Incredibly sad about Fudge, he was wonderful 😢

My sweet pitbull was put down a few months ago because he insisted on growing cancerous tumors, even after removal his biggest one (also groin area) grew right back. It is an incredibly hard choice and I wish you the most peace 🖤

Saying goodbye to animals is the hardest thing, you would think it gets easier but it’s so hard not to get attached. So sorry for your loss as well, just need to remember the good times. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

Hi Maxine, So sad to hear about Fudge, but he has had a good ten years with you and was well looked after. You did the best thing for him as he would not have been a happy horse with the problem he had. As you lose one animal you gain four more - even if they were unexpected. Who would have thought you would have been giving your capybara a contraceptive? Looking at all of the work you, your Dad and all of the staff have been doing at the Zoo, I can only ask ' Do none of you ever sleep'? Keep up with the good work and we will visit when we visit Northumberland next May.d

Those capybara! 🙄 we hope the contraceptive worked for Cherry at least 🤞🏻 as rodents, they can produce so many pups, we just don’t want Chubby and Cherry getting worn out! They aren’t spring chickens anymore, so after these happy little accidents, we’ll hopefully be having a break from babies for awhile. I’m so sorry about Fudge 🌹 The old Parrot House looks very swish and intriguing. Capaybara babies! Bat babies! Excellent stuff 🥰 I don’t suppose you have any plans to raise the height of some of the “munchkin windows” at the Snow Ladies and the Scotty Wildcats, for example? I’m a tall lass and my back’s killing me… 🥴😜

The old parrot house will be exciting for sure! Yes, those short windows are a pain since the tarmacking especially! They are actually in the plans for modifications, on the never-ending-extra-long-list of a million jobs 😬

Ho you never been? Wow. It takes up most of the NEC. Dead easy to get overwelmed. You need to go with some sort of plan. Go on line and see who is exibiting or at least who is in what halls. They try to bundle the same catorgry things together. It's not supper buy like a normal show as it's for trade only. But don't be deceved. Millions of pounds of trade is taking place.

@@NorthumberlandZoo bigger than you can even emajin. another tip is to take an araplane size carion bag with wheels. for a few snacs but also for all the leaflets catalogs etc. you will do LOTS of walking. after 6 hours with a rucksack you might be glad you took one. you wont feal silly last time I went lots of people had them. That is what gave me the idea. hope you get lots of idears
