Hey, Georgia Extremes is open again! It was closed due to Covid concerns or something when I was there last summer. I'd seen it before, back when it opened, though. Anyway, SSS is a very nice building with a solid lineup of species. The big constrictors are impressively large, as is the alligator snapping turtle; it's too bad you missed him. Looking forward to seeing the Ford African Rainforest next time! That's probably the best section of the zoo, in this reviewer's humble opinion.

I've been to Zoo Atlanta in late July 2022 during my summer vacation. However while I did saw the gorillas and giant pandas, I did not go into this exhibit because I didn't notice it.

I’m so happy you uploaded this exhibit! I went here and the aquarium in 2018 and this is the best reptile exhibit I’ve ever seen! But I haven’t been able to find any good walk throughs of it.

Super cool! This is definitely the best reptile house I've ever seen, and you did a great job showing it off! One question though, I went to Cincy the other day and they were finally revocation the bear hill, they are ripping the walls down like you predicted, but do you think they will renovate the underwater area too?

According to the plan, doesn't look like it. I figured as such as is it's fine the way it is, and will be perfect for sea otters.

Boring compared to what it once was. They had multiple alligators, crocodiles, gharial...all in huuuuge pools, with an eerie tropical greenhouse type glow and sky lights to keep them warm/humid. Tons of tarantulas, vipers, water moccasins....even had a few wandering spiders...black widows, brown recluses, wolf spiders....emperor scorpions, desert scorpions, centipedes, millipedes... then they spend nearly 20 million on some overdone rock formations and 60 or 70% of the exhibits they used to have. Some of us want to see crazy poisonous crap besides the token poison dart frogs that all the exhibits have everywhere else. Absolute bore and never going back to Atlanta Zoo again - waste of time and money, and now it is just a cash grab, much like the terrible excuse for an aquarium in ATL.
