Excellent video!! If you’re wondering about the rainforest diorama, it would go dark and transition to another diorama of a destroyed rainforest, accompanied by sounds of falling trees and logging equipment.
@alissa30712 жыл бұрын
The rainforest display @10:38 doesn't work anymore, but you used to hit the button and the light would go out and there would be sounds of people/equipment at work cutting down the forest. Then the light would come back on to reveal the physical display under the trees, which is a sad-looking mud lot with trucks, debris, and stumps

The human population and rainforest acres stats really hurt to see but that's what it's supposed to do so I applaud it. Harsh facts trigger action

Wow. I visited The Rain Forest twice as a kid in the mid-'90s, but my memories of it are all but gone at this point. Just a few vague images... I do remember the tapirs, sad to hear that they're gone. I'm definitely going to have to visit again, though! There's some cool stuff here. I love the elaborate leaf-cutter ant setup, and the rain and mist machines really make the porcupine exhibit into something special. Little touches like the medicine trail add a lot to the overall immersion, too.

Great video on one of the best places in my Home town zoo (and the zoo I've visited the most!) I've recently become a ambassador their, that's are name for the people who give people directions, give animal facts, and help guests in anyway. Maybe the next time your in the Cleveland area and come back t the zoo, I'll see you their! Also, I think the next part of the zoo to record if you haven't is the Africa area with the new expansion to the Rhinos Habitat!

Question: Did you forget to add the C-shape with the Fijian Banded Iguana and Green Tree Monitor? I was wondering because at 6:37 you said “another C-shape” but never showed the first one. Besides that, great video, definitely one of my favorites and I can’t wait to see what else you have in store for us this year.

Wowsers! Is it a remake or Episode 104! Plus, you should visit the Lincoln Park Zoo again because in Fall 2021, they're gonna do the grand opening on the new Pepper Family Wildlife Center sooner or later! And also, visit the Woodland Park Zoo, Sacramento Zoo, Oakland Zoo, San Francisco Zoo, Happy Hollow Park & Zoo, San Diego Zoo Safari Park, Monterey Bay Aquarium, SeaWorld San Diego, & Disney's Animal Kingdom as well! Stars & Alioramus!🦏

The diorama is interactive. It starts out as a full forest with the calls of birds and other rain forest animals. Then you hear the sounds of trucks and chainsaws as the forest liters fades into another diorama of a cattle farm with the sounds of cattle and human children playing.

fun fact.. CLuded leopards aren't classed as either big cat or small cat. they have their own genus their of nebulosa which translates into young and new they have very few sub species too... big cat genus is Panthera and small cat genus is Felis ...... I found this out when we got clouded leopards at our local zoo and was chatting with one of the carnivore keepers about them
