Can confirm, moose are way more scary than people realize. They are ginormous and want nothing to do with people. Cows will stomp your head in for breathing the same air as their calves, and bulls will stomp your head in for the sin of existing near them. If there’s one thing that can be said for Zoochosis, it is very realistic with the zoo animals. They swarm you when you have food, and run away when you need something from them. 10/10 the animals are just like irl

It's sad, too, because the game had such amazing people working on it, but the workers just couldn't force themselves to work on it with the emotional weight, and the higher ups wanted it to come out one way or another. They also used AI to cover some of the writing and voice acting when the people responsible for both stopped the work flow to mourn, on top of it

I've been thinking of an alternate version of the game, where the protagonist can actually save the mutated animals and remind them of what they were, then the protagonist destroys Mother and becomes a new Mother and sics all of the mutated animals on the executives who started the parasite experiments in the first place.

I feel like the game reveals its hand wayyyyyy too early. The whole parasite and human meat thing gets pretty predictable a few minutes after watching :/ The main character is also so…… weird? He steals zoo meat despite it being told that it’s specifically for animals and he has a camera tracking his movements. He gives no shits about grinding humans up or the mutantions.

Yeah this game is pretty mediocre. Its biggest issue is the gameplay sucking, but the story is also really poorly paced and feels like it has chunks completely missing from it. I DO however think its a really FUNNY game because of that
