there is a happy ending where Paul decides to inject himself but Sarah has better plan which worked and basically injected Oliver with the poison and killed him and the mother and Paul spit out the parasite.I think in this ending we can see the mother fully and seems like she is rooted to the ground or it is the cutscene where Sarah was injected but they updated it show the A Mother

So next to the parasites it tells you that you can ID the female depending on the species. So you gotta see how the multiple parasites act and reference the instructions. It's a bit of a guessing game but gotta get at least 3 parasites for a good shot at getting a female.

I originally thought this was an FNaF ripoff, with a similar storyline: a person working the night shift at a shady organization with a history of murder and death involving paranormal monsters and machines, who needs to monitor the place at night. But this game actually shows a lot of creativity in its design.

Those ads for this game were practically false advertising honestly. On the level of any given mobile game add. Almost nothing in them is present in a gameplay way in the game itself. Even something as simple as being even a little subtle about humans being the basis of the animal's food is simply thrown in your face, versus the ads which tried to(barely but still) hide this face.

For $25 it wasn't a bad game by any means; I watched a few streamers who complained about the hand-holding initially and they panicked about the mutants, unsure of what to do because there wasn't ENOUGH hand-holding from Doc initially. Doc states that he and the organization "like questions" and "like folks who search for answers" (paraphrasing), so I think dropping the hand-holding and forcing the players to mess up their first playthrough in order to learn was perfectly fine. There are several endings, so you would HAVE to mess up intentionally to get them. The voice-acting I think was pretty decent despite claims to AI being used; I'm pretty sure the AI only copied Doc, since Doc's voice actor was the main squeeze for the game and he died midway through production. Even if there were more AI voices, I don't think it had a detrimental effect on the game's execution at all. I think the deadpan delivery from Doc is perfect for his character while being in this line of business, the phonecalls were good, the reporter was fine and had plenty of range, the protagonist had a good amount of range and so did his wife (not to tear into it, but I've heard bad voice-acting in higher-budget productions like Dawntrail and this was better overall in terms of voicing, depth, and expression. Even Doc sounded better). Still, I think the folks who made it need to polish it considerably and fix the bugs and soft locks that players are experiencing. They seem to be handling the heat and reviews rather well, and from what I read, they're legitimately looking at the reviews and responding to each footnote rather than sending an automated 'sorry we'll do better' response in a copy/paste format. I hope to see more and I hope that they continue to deliver, though this time, they need to let their goods cook for a little longer and flesh things out in case there are bugs and folks aren't met with a jarring image of closed-in walkways and floating trees.

@@res6148 it was obvious, at least for me, that most (if not all) scenes in the trailers were simply animations and not actual gameplay footage. The game turned out much better than I thought, because I thought the care-taking part would only be a small portion, while the main gameplay would be the basic "survival" horror "go from point A to B while avoiding 2-3 scary monsters" type of thing
