I agree with what you are saying, but I want to point out 3 things... Many cameras have an external mike jack and you can greatly improve your audio by plugging in a mike while you wait for your Zoom to arrive. If you don't have a DAW, and just want to record video more or less directly, you can plug the line-out on the Zoom to your camera mic jack. Just be careful of your levels. Finally, there are a lot of H4ns available used for just about the same price as a new H1n, yet the H1n holds its value much better, so a used H4n is about the same price as a used H1n.
