I’m so happy I found your channel. I bought the live track l12 and you have made it so much easier for me to understand how to use the mixer. You are a great teacher. And your music is killer!❤

You make me feel so good. Normally this stuff gets me uptight. Your approach is so calm and clear... Thank you! I'm play and gig in a quartet. Every soundcheck is a pain ... Do you have any tips? (We don't have anyone to be our "ears" in front) Thanks in advance! ❤

And you make me feel good with your kind words! Thank you for listening and tuning in, make sure you check out the playlist for recording tutorials! Don't forget to check out our music playlists also. Setting up the PA for a band, no matter how big or how small is always a challenge! Start with the placement of the speakers, try to face away from microphones as much as possible. If you use monitors, the same thing, make sure the monitors face the back of the microphone, so you avoid feedback. Keep the music at a reasonable level, loud brings feedback and makes it difficult to hear each other. There are too many to do here, but I hope you get the sound you like!

In my band my partner uses a wireless in his guitar and stands in the audience during soundcheck. He provides feedback and I adjust each instrument and mike level for the balance and the overall sound level for the room. For his vocal I stand in the audience.

@@coryfronte That is a great way to do it. This way you can get an idea of how the sound is in the room. I used to do the same thing but with a long guitar cord! I would go to the middle of the dance floor and listen while getting a sound check! Thanks for tuning in! Check out some of our live recordings and original music on the channel!

Hi, great! Can You use Monnitor Outs (A>E) for Stage monitor / Aux way ore headphones only. The L-20 therfore has a switch button !

I have the L12 and I used the headphone out to connect a powered speaker. It works, maybe not the best way, the L20 has a better system, but it should work ok. I use the 'A' left and right for monitors. That works well. I have other videos on my channel that go into this some more. Look up the tutorial playlist and browse! Thanks for listening and good luck with your music!
